Back to School | Ab in die Schule

EnglishAfter the long months of summer break, today was finally the day to go back to school. And with my first day of class, I’m meeting my new students for this year. It’s a day that has been long anticipated. Though I can’t say that I don’t like having a nice long summer break. Besides, I have been busy getting everything ready for my colleagues and the semester. DeutschNach der langen Sommerpause kam heute endlich der Tag, an dem es für mich zurück in den Unterricht ging. Und am ersten Schultag lerne ich meine neue Studenten kennen, die ich dieses Jahr begleiten darf. Es ist ein Tag, der schon lange erwartet wurde. Aber ich genieße auch die freien Ferientage. Und ich habe ja schon einen ganzen Berg Arbeit hinter mir, um alles für die Kollegen und das Semester vorzubereiten.

I’ve been giving things a bit of thought and decided to change the structure of this site a little. I realized, I already have a ton of sketches to share, but also some other fun freebies in the making. So, I decided to give the Sketches & Templates their own dedicated weekly spot. Sooo … From now on, you can expect sketches to be released on or around Mondays. I’ll be starting to offer card making sketches and inspiration on Thursdays, and Fridays will continue to be dedicated to other Freebies. For Tuesdays I plan to go back to my old tradition of offering tutorials, etc. Of course, it’s always worthwhile to check out the Youtube Channel for this site: Misty Hilltops Designs. Things there run on a different schedule, so you can find a wide variety between the two. Having said enough about general housekeeping matters, onto this week’s sketch.
