Freebie Friday: Wish

I’ve been feeling rather crappy again yesterday and most of today, but since I got all those CT layouts that I need to do, I thought, I might as well get another template done. Sorry, I’m not in the mood for chatting much more today, just wish you all a happy Friday, as always! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Monday Highlight: Tiebreak

I’m excited to introduce you to a product of a different kind for once: Tiebreak by Erica Zwart With my other passion (besides scrapping & photography, etc.) being tennis, this kit was a must-have for me, as soon as I saw a page using it in the gallery standouts (GSO). And I even managed to get it for half-price (though I don’t know how that happened). I love the graphic feel of this kit that comes with lots of brushes, some word-art, but also the obligatory tennis rackets and a fun assortment of papers. With the other older tennis kit I have, I can finally scrap more of my many tennis photos. Here’s some inspiration, using this kit: For this page (above) – I must admit – I nearly copied a layout that was done by a CT member of Erica’s for this release – that’s how much I loved the design. Here’s a page, using more of my own ideas and creativity. I just love what you can do with this. And just today, …

Freebie Friday: Sweet

Off to the next round of free templates! This one is all about sweets and treats, and I created this template based on a page that features the new release of Libby Pritchett & Shawna Clingerman: Rainbow Trails. I’m curious to see what you guys come up with, using this template. Talking about curiosity: I found a page based on my template #29 “Now,” and I thought it turned out quite well, so that I’d like to share it here with you: “Laugh” by tconlan And since I’ve been sharing already, how about one more? Myscrapbookart.com just released their latest newsletter, and it contains a great freebie by SSD designer Dani Mogstad. Here’s the preview: You like it? Then make sure you’re signed up for the newsletter at MSA so you can download it for free! Well, that’s it for today. As always: Happy Friday, scrappers! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit …

Monday Highlight: Sweetshoppe Quarterly Assortment Vol. 3

If you’ve been around my little digiscrap corner for a while, you’ll probably know that I love the SSD Quarterly Assortments. They are a great collection of mini kits released by the Sweetshoppe designers for one really low price. What’s especially exciting about them this year is that the designers have started to collaborate on coordinating their kits, which means that basically you get four full kits and one medium size kit for the price of less than one. A great deal in my eyes anyways, and with the newest volume they offer another full set of beautifully designed kits. Take a look … But it gets even better! While these QAs come with a huge assortment of papers and embellies, they were usually missing only one minor part: the solid papers, which I happen to use a lot in my scrapping. So, I usually had to look for some coordinating solid papers in my digistash, wich is quite extensive, though it takes more time finding the right paper. So, for this latest release, I …

Freebie Friday: Fall

Have you been wondering why it has been so quiet in this little corner of the world? Well, I can tell you. First, I had to teach an extra load of classes (twice as many as usual), and right after that I got really sick. Been in bed almost all week – but: I managed to get you a new template for today. This one’s based on one of my latest pages, featuring Cindy Schneider’s new release for tomorrow. I really hope that soon I’ll be getting back on track (as I got lots of exciting new stuff to share with you in the upcoming weeks). Anyways, I hope you’ll enjoy playing with this template, and as always: Happy Friday, scrappers! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: Now

Whaa, this is a late Friday freebie, but I kind of still wanted to share a new template with you this week, so here it is: Have fun with this one, and as always: Happy Friday! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: Just Arrived

I just finished this photo book project, but I’ve already been working on another one. It’s about our family vacation in Sweden that was about to draw to an end exactly two years ago. So, today’s new template is based on one of my latest pages for that Sweden photo book. We had just arrived and everyone was still checking out the place when I took that photo that I used for this layout. I hope you’ll enjoy scrapping with this template, and as always: Happy Friday, everyone! PS: For those of you who wonder about older templates – only the most recent four are usually available. Sorry, if that means you missed some of the older ones. I might do another contest, if you are interested in having the old ones, too! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: June

Got you another template today. It’s the doodley sort of kind, which means it includes all of my own doodles. Though it is based on a calendar for June 2011, I tried to design it in such a way that it is easily adaptable. All date numbers and the journaling spots on the grid are grouped, but you can easily ungroup them and rearrange things on your own page. The same applies to clipping masks for photos. I’m sure, you got different days to fill with photos, so I only included one photo clipping mask, and you can duplicate it and place it wherever on the grid you need it. Sounds like a deal? Well then, here’s the template: Hope you’ll enjoy this one,  and happy Friday, y’all! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: May Faves

I’m so excited today! I’ve got another freebie for you! After the long break I had to take due to my further studies, I’m finally on the roll again, and it makes me happy! This one almost turned into a little headache, when I had finished it more than halfway through and then my software seemed to get stuck, but then my computer decided to rally its little spirit and allowed me to save everything without crashing. So here, without further ado, let me present my latest freebie template: This one is based on my layout “May 2011 Favorites,” which I just scrapped, and which about gives you an idea how far behind in my scrapping I’ve gotten myself recently. Anyways, with the weekend ahead, I hope you’ll get a chance to use this template, and as always: Happy Friday, scrappers! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs. …

Freebie Friday: Fishing

Whaa! I haven’t been able to keep up blogging, recently. Too much on my plate! But I still wanted to get you another template today. It’s based on one of my recent pages “Gone Fishing,” and what’s special about this one is that it comes with three clipping masks that will help you blend your papers. You can blend papers, or you can simply delete the clipping masks and do your normal scrapping as usual. If you don’t know how to use the clipping masks to their full potential, I’ll try to get you a tutorial about this by next Tuesday (fingers crossed)! Anyways, I’m hoping you’ll enjoy this template, and as always: Happy Friday, scrappers!
