Freebie Friday: Boy

How about a new template freebie for you that comes on time? This one is based on a layout with Libby’s new release this weekend that I titled “Boy.” I hope you’ll have fun with it, and as always, link us up here when you create something with one of my templates. Before I let you go and play, though, I want to show another pretty page that AJM created, called “I pick you.” I love the color scheme of this page, how she clustered the elements, and that she used stitches to border her page. Of course, the photo is the best of this page, and I love that she used it with this template (“Leap,” which will be available for download one more week) to keep it very prominent on the page! Thanks for sharing your page with us, and as always … Happy Friday, everyone! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure …

Freebie Friday: Growth

It always makes me so happy to see when a layout done with one of my templates makes a GSO somewhere. This week this happened once again, but before I get to that, let me share this week’s new template with you: It’s a page based on my layout “Growth,” which I created earlier this week. I hope, you’ll enjoy it! And here is the layout, I’ve wanted to share with you, created by Kate: She did such a good job with this page that I first didn’t even recognize the template. And I love how she added her own finishing touches to this layout, making it truly her own page! Thanks for sharing this with us, Kate! Now, I better leave you to your scrapping, but don’t forget to add a link to your finished gallery uploads to this post, so we can all see what you do with this template (and get more inspiration)! Happy Friday, everyone! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to …

Freebie Friday: Recorded

Ack! I’m late again! So sorry. It’s been a really busy week, and on top of that I had to squeeze in a trip to the city to get some official paper work stuff done, and there was literally no time to get another template done in time. (You may have realized that my layouts have become a little scarce recently,  too! There’s just a lot going on for me, recently!) But here we finally are … no more apologies. I’m relieved to present you with this week’s new template, based on my page “Happiness Recorded.” Please hook me up with your completed pages, so I can see what you do with these templates! That’s the fun side for me! And feel free to share about these freebies with others as well, so more people can check them out and enjoy them! Anyways, hope you’ll enjoy iNSD weekend and get to lots of scrapping these coming  days! As always – Happy Friday! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share …

Freebie Friday: Leap

Sorry, everyone! Being a day late here. But I got stuck on watching the wedding! Anyways, here it finally is, this week’s new template, based on my layout “Big Leap.” Also, it’s time to announce the happy winner of the contest from last week – (drumroll please! though it’s not a big surprise, lol) – due to the lack of other eligible participants the template collection goes to JenM. (I didn’t even have to use random.org for the drawing, since JenM was the only one who actually participated!) Congrats for winning 12 templates, Jen, and I’ll email you shortly with further specifics. Originally, I had planned to launch another contest (since NSD is coming up), getting you scrapping with one of my templates to win the pack. But it looks like a lot of you already have the templates, which is why there’s no need for another contest. But just out of curiosity, I’d like to ask, whether you’d like me to continue creating these freebies – if in general, there is just little interest in …

Freebie Friday: Pleasure

Got you another template today, based on my latest layout “Pleasure.” I hope you’ll enjoy it, and let me know what you did with this template, once you’ve uploaded your finished page to your galleries. By the way, today, I have a little surprise for you. Have you enjoyed my past templates? Are you one of those who only recently discovered Mistyhilltops.com, and missed out on some of the templates I offered early on? Would you like a chance to get some of my past templates? Well, then I have some happy news for you …   You can win a collection of my templates!   I  want to make 12 of my old templates available to one lucky winner. All you need to do is mention this post on your blog, facebook, twitter, etc. Then come back to this post and leave a comment with a link to your post (where you talked about this contest) before next Thursday (04/28) 12:00 am EST. For next Friday’s freebie post, I’ll use random.org to pick one …

Freebie Friday: Campus

Have your next template ready. It’s based on one of my recent double pages of my parents’ visit to China. It’s late over here, and I’m ready to go to bed, but I hope you’ll enjoy this one. Have a great weekend, everyone! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: Adorable

Ha! I did it again! I managed to get you a new free template on time! Yay for that! This one is based on a page, using Libby’s new release this week “Andria.”  It’s a little different than my usual templates, but those of you who know my scrap designs, also know that I have no set style, really, since I like lots of different types of layouts. Anyways, I hope, you’ll like it, and as always, I’d love to see what you come up with, using this template. Have fun playing, and: Happy Friday! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs. Eta: FYI – Any links to freebies older than 03/11 have been removed. Sorry, if that means you can’t download them any longer!

Freebie Friday: Happy Spring

Can you tell that I have been really busy this past week? I’m just catching up. But here it finally is, my latest freebie for you: Happy Spring, based on a layout using “Lulubelle” by Allison Pennington, currently available at OTS. And of course, I’d still love to see what you’ve done so far with my other freebie templates, so don’t forget to leave a comment and hook me up. Happy scrapping with this one. I hope, you enjoy it! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: Goals

Happy Friday, everyone! I’ve been having really slow internet today. So, to get this post done, basically took me forever. But here it is finally, and I hope you’ll enjoy it. It’s based on my page “Goals 2011. Hope, you’ll have fun scrapping with this one, and as I always remind you: don’t forget to hook me up with the pages you upload to the galleries. Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.

Freebie Friday: Woman

Recently, I’ve been feeling a little tired of the same old same old of my scrapbook pages, so I’ve started exploring and experimenting a little. Here’s one of my latest uploads (“You Are Super-Woman“), and I thought I’d turn it into a template for you. Hope, you’ll enjoy it. Also, I searched the gallery again for another sample of a layout using my templates, and with success. I found … “BCG’s” by mhreen08 … and really liked how the template turned out. She used template No. 12: “Empty,” and I love her photo, choice of papers, the cluster, and the font she chose for the journaling. Great page! Lastly, for those of you who’ve been picking up my old templates, I just recently discovered that one of the freebies weren’t listed in the “freebie” tag. I’m talking about the “Celebrate Christmas” template that I released back in December. While I’ve started to take out some of the older templates, I decided to leave this one in a bit longer so you can still pick it …
