Document Christmas 2014 – Week 1 Recap

Weihnachtsalbum 2014 – 1. Wochenrückblick   So, now that you know all about my Document Christmas 2014 project from Tuesday’s post, I’m actually ready to start sharing my first couple of page spreads. (Keep in mind, they’ll be printed, cut, and assembled in an A5-size album.) I started my album this last Wednesday (when I decided to decorate my home for Christmas) and below you can see my first four pages. Bastelecke: Weihnachtskarten 2014 – Teil 2   Here’s my next set of Christmas cards. I made them using a number of digital scrapbooking products as well as some plain card stock. I cut out everything with my Silhouette Cameo and then put the cards together. Hier ist meine nächste Runde an Weihnachtskarten. Ich habe sie mit Hilfe von verschiedenen digitalen Scrapbook Produkten sowie einfachem Tonpapier erstellt. Mit meiner Silhouette Cameo habe ich dann alles ausgeschnitten und die Karten zusammengebastelt.

Inspiration am Mittwoch: Karten von K Werner Design   Two weeks ago I promised you I’d be linking you up with awesome youtube inspiration on card making, and then last week I totally flaked it. But as there’s always another chance, this week you’ll finally get to see what I mean. I’m simply going to hook you up with Kristina’s Youtube Channel where she has like hundreds of video tutorials on making all sorts of cards. For many of the Christmas cards I made this year, I took inspiration from her examples. Kristina mainly works with stamps and what not, but her card designs are awesome and even if you’re a plain old traditional card maker or a hybrid card maker – her ideas are easy to copy and definitely worth your while. Mein Tagebuch: Thanksgiving   A new week – a new start. And this week is especially exciting. Why? It’s Thanksgiving! Of course, as I’m not from the U.S. I could actually care less about that, BUT: since my colleagues are mainly Americans, we all get an extra holiday. And that I do care about! And as this is about giving thanks, I’d like to say a heartfelt “Thank-you” to my colleagues for being the reason that I get to have an extra holiday! Yay! But before I get lost in all that thankfulness, there’s something else I had on my mind doing here today. Yes, right! The weekly journaling prompts. And you guessed it! It’s more on Thanksgiving.
