Projekt Leben 2016 – Woche 44 Well, I haven’t done much of Project Life this year at all. Good for me that I’m not stuck on saying that if I didn’t start in the beginning of the year, I shouldn’t do it at all. I can do whatever I want. And for me that meant starting my 2016 PL with week 44! Go, Sula! Better late than never. I actually like working on pocket style layouts. It’s so much fun to fill my pockets with the memories of my life. So, this week I worked on about 20 photo pockets (which I’ll be sharing with you in the future), so I could get started on this year’s PL. I used my Like Sunshine freebie collection, which you can find HERE. There’s so much in this collection, that filling up a 2-page spread goes really fast. Document Christmas 2015 (December Daily)

Dokumentiere Weihnachten 2015   So, before I start to embark on this year’s Document Christmas adventure, I wanted to show you last year’s project that I haven’t gotten around to sharing yet. I used the 25 Days of December French Fold 5×7 vertical album template by Carina Gardner that I got from the Silhouette store for my basic album, but then, of course, made it very much my own. Since I have so many lovely Christmas kits, I hate to narrow things down to just one kit for the entire album, so I used a different kit for every double page. This album also comes with large pockets (between pages), which gave me lots of extra space to work with. Dokumentiere Weihnachten (oder: December Daily) 2016 Whaaa! It’s that time of year again, to get going on that Christmas album. I’ve been doing it for six years now (I think) and it’s always such a wonderful experience. Of course, as usual, I’m kind of late with starting to talk about it here just now, but then, we still have about two weeks to go until December. For my part, I’ve decided to go all digital again this year. Did an all out hybrid album last year, which turned out beautiful (and I’m going to share the details with you on Thursday in my hybrid post, since I never shared any of it with you last year). But since I’m too busy for doing a hybrid album this year, I’m glad I do have the digital alternative, which does go a lot faster. Freebie Freitag: Autumn Song – Teil 6 Ladies, I’m so sorry I totally forgot to post part 6. Now, it’s pretty much a year later, when you finally get it. First off: I year ago, I actually lost, not one, but two hard drives. Both of them together pretty much contained my whole life. Fortunately enough, I had a lot of stuff backed up, so over time I was able to retrieve some of it. But I lost a good portion of my “designing toolbox.” Needless to say: it was so frustrating that I haven’t been motivated to do much in my Digiscrap Corner.
