Hybrid Hub: Boxes & Bags

Bastelecke: Boxen und Taschen I was busy crafting away this weekend. With St. Nicholas Day on December 6th, I wanted to have a way to present those cookies my students have been busy baking last week. So, I pulled out my Silhouette again, and began cutting whatever bags I have in my stash. I stamped them with some Christmas stamps I got a couple of years ago (and never really used yet), and this is what came of it: Habe am Wochenende fleissig gebastelt. Da am Dienstag ja Nikolaustag war, wollte ich die Plätzchen an den Mann bringen, die meine Studenten letzte Woche so fleissig gebacken haben. Also musste meine Silhouette Cameo ran. Ich habe so ziemlich jedes Täschchen und jede Box ausgeschnitten, die ich über die Jahre so angesammelt habe. Habe sie dann noch mit weihnachtlichen Stempeln versehen und hier ist, was dabei herausgekommen ist:

Document Christmas 2016 – Week 2 Recap

Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #2 I’m well into my December Daily project this year, and I can tell you, I’m having fun with it. Having made that foundation template really is making my life super easy. The template helps me getting those pages done pretty quickly, and I love being able to alternate between the different styles for some variation. Also, notice how I keep switching sides and products, so the album won’t turn out too boring. And of course, I’m having fun with the photo pockets that I’m sharing with you as freebies these days. (Images are linked for product info.) Inzwischen stecke ich voll in meinem Dezember Album Projekt, und es macht mir super Spass. Mit Hilfe der Vorlage, die ich mir erstellt habe (und auch euch zur Verfügung gestellt habe), geht alles richtig schnell. Calendar 2017 – Part 1

2017 Kalender – Teil 1 A couple of weeks ago, Cindy Schneider released another set of calendar templates, which are so fun to work with. What’s great with her calendar templates is that they come in both Sun-Sat, and Mon-Sun, which is what I needed. I’m going to have these printed on A4 size as give-away, and modifying Cindy’s templates for that was so easy. It only took me a few sessions to whip up and complete the entire calendar. Some of the month titles, I created myself, which was super fun, too, and inspired me for some future freebie projects for you. But here’s a look at the first part of the calendar (all images are linked for product info): Vor ein paar Wochen hat Cindy Schneider neue Kalendervorlagen herausgebracht, und ich hatte richtig viel Spass damit. Projekt Leben 2016 – Woche 45 I finished another week of project life, and am ready to show you the result. One of the more interesting things that happened this week was the flooding of our dining hall and lobby. But we’ve also been enjoying the most beautiful autumn. Document Christmas 2016 – A First Glance

Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Erster Einblick It’s finally here. Christmas season 2016. (At least in Germany with the first of Advent tomorrow, the season has officially started.) And have started my Document Christmas Project 2016. (I don’t really like to call it December Daily, because my Christmas season starts at the end of November and ends in the beginning of January – as for countless other people in Germany as well.) And as promised, here is a first glance at my project this year. You can actually see the TEMPLATE in action now, and maybe that’ll help you get inspired, too. I used all three styles that came with the template, and of course, the photo pockets, that I’ve been sharing as freebies lately. In the end, I’m going to print this on white cardstock, cut the pages in half, and turn this into an actual album. Sie ist endlich da! Die Weihnachtszeit 2016.
