Every year, right after Thanksgiving, it’s time to deck the halls of my humble abode. And this year, it’s no different.

Contrary to German tradition, my Christmas tree comes out at the beginning of the season. But I also keep to some of the typical German traditions, such has having an advent wreath.

Jedes Jahr gleich nach Thanksgiving geht’s dann damit los, dass meine Bude weihnachtlich auf Vordermann gebracht werden muss. Und das ist dieses Jahr nicht anders.

Entgegen deutscher Tradition kommt der Weihnachtsbaum (künstlich) gleich schon zu Anfang der Weihnachtszeit raus, aber ich halte es auch mit deutschen Traditionen, wie den Adventskranz.
