iNSD 2011

It’s the weekend many of us have been waiting for so long: International Scrapbook Day. Have you checked out all the stores yet? There are sales going on everywhere! It’s your chance to get some great deals on digiscrap products all over digiland! And you also might want to check out the forums of your favorite stores, for I’m sure almost everywhere they are having special activities, contests, etc. to celebrate iNSD! SSD certainly has a lot of different contest going on, so make sure, you don’t miss out on winning some fabulous goodies!

CT Spotlight (05/07)

I’ve got some good, and some bad news for you today! And since I always like to get over with the bad stuff first, so I can enjoy the good, I’ll start with the bad news: I had to quit the CT of Nanie’s Designs. 🙁 There’s just a lot going on recently, so I’ve had to cut back on my CT requirements and turn down other offers in the last couple of weeks, but the good news is, I’m still working for the SSD designers. And since it’s Saturday, let’s quickly get to the new releases this weekend: First off, Libby Pritchett released an adorable scrapbook-themed product, as well as a collab with Shawna Clingerman. Cindy has a whole entourage of templates she’s released today. And Darcy has two fun fonts, one of which comes in three versions.

Saturday Feature: Bake Sale

Our last bake sale has been quite a while ago. If you remember, it was back during the Christmas season in December. So, this bake sale was long anticipated! And not only that, but probably it’ll be the last bake sale in a while, since most of my colleagues who usually organize it are leaving after this semester :-(. Anyways, the profits usually go towards an organization that supports orphanages in our area, which makes buying these delicacies all the more justifiable. Though the line of those wanting to indulge was long, and the best goodies sold out immediately, I still was able to get my hands on some of the treats. Don’t ask me what exactly they were, for I don’t remember much beyond the peanut butter cups, peanut oatmeal non-bake cookies, and a cupcake. But I sure did enjoy to give myself a treat!
