2018 December Journaling Card Inspiration

2018 Dezember Karten Inspiration Today I thought I’d show you the journaling cards I’ll be using for my December Album this year. I designed most of them for last year’s Document December Album, loved how they turned out and decided I wanted to use them again. I merely switched the colors to match this year’s project. I’d love to share them with you. However, I’m not sure about copyright/ commercial rights of the fonts I used. Of course, sharing them as freebies, I wouldn’t make any money off these cards, and sharing them in flattened png images, they wouldn’t be of use to anyone else, still, I haven’t figured out whether using them to share with you guys is legal, and I don’t want to get into trouble over something that I give away as freebies. If any of you know the details about copyright laws, etc. you’re welcome to drop a comment below to point me in the right direction. Document December 2018 – A First Glimpse

December, however, usually is also the busiest month of the year for me, what with all the traditions and the celebrations. At the same time, I love doing Document December projects to commemorate the season. Last year, I bought a pretty Christmas paper pack that I was eager to use. But all the while I was wondering: How can I embark on another December Daily journey without it taking too much of my time? The answer: A super simple album that I prepare ahead of time, and that I then only need to fill with photos and journaling. So, I can honestly say, I’ve never been so on top of things with my DD projects as this year. Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #5 I finished scrapping another week of my December Daily, and with the foundation template I’ve been using this year, it’s all going pretty well. Admitted, I got behind for various reasons, but I’m still enjoying working on my pages. Bastelecke: Weihnachtskarten 2016 – Teil 2 Here comes  the second part of Christmas cards I wanted to show show you this year. As I said last week, I kept them pretty simple: just sent them through my embossing machine, and embellished a little. Hier kommt der 2. Teil meine Weihnachtskarten. Wie ich schon letzte Woche sagte: Dieses Jahr habe ich meine Weihnachtskarten recht einfach gehalten. Ich habe sie einfach durch meine Embossingmaschine geschickt und ein bisschen dekoriert.

Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #4 Ok, I admit it: I’ve gotten a bit behind with my December Daily at this point. But it’s still all good. I finished scrapping my fourth week, and with the foundation template I’ve been using this year, I’m still not feeling overwhelmed by the task. Take a look at what was going on during week 4 (Images are linked for product info): Also, ich gebs ja zu, ich bin mit meinem Weihnachtsalbum ein bisschen in Verzug gekommen. Aber das ist kein Problem. Bastelecke: Krippenszene It’s actually supposed to be a Christmas card. I got it HERE from the Silhouette store during the recent sale. Eigentlich ist sie als Weihnachtskarte gedacht. Ich habe diese Krippenszene kürzlich HIER im Silhouette Store gekauft.     But when I bought it, I didn’t have a Christmas card in mind. I was hoping that with a few tweaks I might turn it into a decorative element to adorn my home. And I was right. All I needed to do is blow this design up to fill the A4 paper size that I have, and the result is really adorable. I actually made this project for a dear friend of mine. But when I saw the result, I really knew, I’m going to get my own nativity scene as soon as I have the time for it. Aber als ich diese Karte gekauft habe, hatte ich schon die Hoffnung im Hinterkopf, dass ich mir mit ein paar kleinen Veränderungen vielleicht eine Krippenszene bauen könnte.
