In die Felder One of the nice things about where my parents live is that within a minute or two from their house you can be outside and right in the fields. And as the weather has been holding up quite nicely lately, I’m happy to take walks in the fields and to see how spring is slowly taking over, pushing back what’s left of winter. Das Schöne daran, wo meine Eltern leben, ist, dass man ganz schnell in den Feldern sein kann. Und da das Wetter sich in den letzten Tagen schön gehalten hat, habe ich fleißig Spaziergänge in die Felder gemacht, um mitzuerleben, wie der Frühling sich langsam durchsetzt und den Winter wegdrängt. Abenteuer am Berg We love that little mountain nearby where we love to go hiking and try to get the bit of nature that is available around here. Except that, over the last couple of years, “improvements” have been made to our little resort, meaning that roads have been paved, temples and buildings added, and stairs have been built where once there was just a little nature trail. Whether that really is an improvement when nature and wilderness are the things we desire, I leave for you to decide. But at least we still get a little adventure here and there, and lucky for us, not all trails have been turned into stairs and paved roads yet.
