Document December 2018 – A First Glimpse

December, however, usually is also the busiest month of the year for me, what with all the traditions and the celebrations. At the same time, I love doing Document December projects to commemorate the season. Last year, I bought a pretty Christmas paper pack that I was eager to use. But all the while I was wondering: How can I embark on another December Daily journey without it taking too much of my time? The answer: A super simple album that I prepare ahead of time, and that I then only need to fill with photos and journaling. So, I can honestly say, I’ve never been so on top of things with my DD projects as this year. Document Christmas 2016 – Week 5 Recap

Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #5 I finished scrapping another week of my December Daily, and with the foundation template I’ve been using this year, it’s all going pretty well. Admitted, I got behind for various reasons, but I’m still enjoying working on my pages. Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #4 Ok, I admit it: I’ve gotten a bit behind with my December Daily at this point. But it’s still all good. I finished scrapping my fourth week, and with the foundation template I’ve been using this year, I’m still not feeling overwhelmed by the task. Dokumentiere Weihnachten (oder: December Daily) 2016 Whaaa! It’s that time of year again, to get going on that Christmas album. I’ve been doing it for six years now (I think) and it’s always such a wonderful experience. Of course, as usual, I’m kind of late with starting to talk about it here just now, but then, we still have about two weeks to go until December. For my part, I’ve decided to go all digital again this year. Did an all out hybrid album last year, which turned out beautiful (and I’m going to share the details with you on Thursday in my hybrid post, since I never shared any of it with you last year). But since I’m too busy for doing a hybrid album this year, I’m glad I do have the digital alternative, which does go a lot faster. Weihnachtsalbum 2014 – Woche 5 Rückblick (Teil 1) Here’s the next part of my weekly recaps. Except that, this week there were so many special activities that I decided to make a page for each event. Which also means that there’ll be more pages than usually, so I decided to divide this week’s review. Therefore, you get the first part today. Hier ist der nächste Teil meiner wöchentlichen Rückblicke. Allerdings gab es diese Woche so viele besondere Aktivitäten, dass ich beschlossen habe, eine extra Seite für jedes Event zu erstellen. Das heißt allerdings auch, dass es diesmal mehr Seiten als sonst gibt. Also habe ich mich dafür entschieden, den Rückblick diese Woche aufzuteilen. Weihnachtsalbum 2014 – 1. Wochenrückblick   So, now that you know all about my Document Christmas 2014 project from Tuesday’s post, I’m actually ready to start sharing my first couple of page spreads. (Keep in mind, they’ll be printed, cut, and assembled in an A5-size album.) I started my album this last Wednesday (when I decided to decorate my home for Christmas) and below you can see my first four pages. By the way, I made my own photo pockets for this project (on these pages you can see their actual sizes), and if you’d like to find out how to get them before I start posting them, you can check out yesterday’s blog post. Bastelecke: Herbst Minialbum   I’ve been telling you about the mini albums I’ve been working on over the last couple of months. So, I’m finally ready to start showing them to you. This one I actually started working on a year ago, but only recently did I finally get to print and cut everything to put it together. It’s a really simple one that didn’t take much time at all to put together. Ich habe euch von den Minialben erzählt, an denen ich in den letzten Monaten gearbeitet habe. Und jetzt komme ich endlich mal dazu, sie euch zu zeigen. An diesem einfachen kleinen Album habe ich schon vor einem Jahr angefangen zu arbeiten. Aber erst kürzlich habe ich es endlich mal ausgedruckt, ausgeschnitten und zusammen gesetzt. Es zu basteln hat dann auch gar nicht lange gedauert.

Bastelecke: DIY Minialbum “Mainau”   Hi friends, I’m back to share with you another mini album that I made not too long ago. This one’s definitely the most fancy one I ever did. It comes with lots of flaps, pockets, and many things to discover. It also has lots of room for photos. I made it using a combination of digital and traditional scrapbooking products as well as some Silhouette cutting files. The main products used are the digital scrapbooking kit “Don’t Cry, Blue Skies” by Libby Pritchett & Mari Koegelenberg, and the sticker and ephemera parts of the Hello Sunshine Collection by Pink Paislee.   Hallo Freunde! Ich bin zurück, um euch ein weiteres Minialbum zu zeigen, dass ich vor nicht allzu langer Zeit gebastelt habe. Dies ist definitiv das aufwändigste Album, dass ich je erstellt habe. Es hat viele Taschen, Laschen und Klappseiten und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Es hat auch viel Platz für jede Menge Fotos. Bastelecke: Familienzeit Minialbum   I want to show you another mini album I made. This one is one of the most fancy albums I’ve made so far, I love how it turned out, and it was a lot of fun to create.   Ich möchte euch gern ein weiteres Minialbum zeigen, das ich gebastelt habe. Dies ist eines der kompliziertesten, die ich bislang gemacht habe und das Endergebnis gefällt mir sehr gut.   As base, I used some simple brown craft paper and a Tabbed Chipboard Album template from Lori Whitlock, which is available at the Silhouette Online Store or on Lori’s blog. However, I modified Lori’s album, by adding pockets and a special binding to it which you can find described in a youtube clip HERE.   Als Grundlage habe ich einfaches braunes festes Papier verwendet und das Tabbed Chipboard Album von Lori Whitlock, welches im Silhouette Online Laden oder auf Loris Blog erhältlich ist. Mini Album: Hello Sister

Bastelecke: Minialbum – Hello Sister   Boy, despite the fact that I’m on summer holiday, I haven’t gotten to the point of starting to work on another mini album (though I have lots of topics to scrap about, and lot’s of materials, too). Anyhoo, as I’ve had chances to work on some albums over the last couple of months, there’s still more that I can show you. Today, I’d like to share a little mini album for which I used a number of things: A mini album template by Lori Whitlock from her Silhouette Online Store A digital scrapbooking kit “Hello Hello” (retired) by Shawna Clingerman and Mari Koegelenberg And a perfectly correlating cardboard sticker set by Pink Paislee   Junge, Junge, obwohl Sommerferien sind, bin ich noch überhaupt nicht dazu gekommen, endlich mal wieder mit einem neuen Album loszulegen (dabei habe ich eine Menge Ideen und Materialien, auf die ich auch zurückgreifen kann).
