btw – We are hosting two Chinese boys for 4 days next weekend for an orchestra exchange. They are 13 years old. Our school went there last year, now it’s our turn to host. We live in America. Do you have any suggestions for gifts to give the boys?
Wow, that’s interesting, Krista! I’m not quite sure what would be good presents, though. Seems like they come from a more privileged background and that usually means they get everything they want (including all the high-tech stuff Western kids usually would have). Anything a 13 year old American boy would like (and snacks, lol) – I’m sure you can’t go wrong with that … (and if you still don’t know, probably anything that can show off that they’ve been to the States, i.e.. clothes or stuff with America logo, etc.)
