This week, I thought I would share with you some layout ideas, for the 6×6 pages of this album. This gives you an idea of how you can arrange photos and papers on these pages. Obviously, the possibilities are endless, but these are some basic ways of how you can place things on these pages. After years of not using PS much (thing got difficult for me after a system update), I finally sat down to create another kit. This one’s just a mini kit, not a full kit because I wouldn’t know how to squeeze in all the other things I want to share here. But it has everything you need to be able to create a pretty scrapbook page. Deutsch Ich hab’s mal wieder vollbracht! Nach Jahren, in denen ich PS nicht viel benutzt habe (nach einem System Update wurde die Sache kompliziert für mich), habe ich mich endlich hingesetzt und ein neues Kit kreiert. Diesmal gibt’s nur ein Minikit, da ich nicht wüsste, wie ich all die Sachen hier teilen könnte, die ich sonst noch weitergeben möchte. Aber trotzdem hat dieses Kit alles, was man für eine hübsche Scrapbookseite braucht. But at least you get to collect everything in one swoop. What was special fun about this page was that I got to use the little stocking I had crocheted to use on one of my pages. There are tons of youtube tutorials that show you how you can crochet a mini stocking. Besonders toll fand ich, dass ich für diese Seite auch den eigens gehäkelten Strumpf verwenden konnte. Auf Youtube gibt’s übrigens jede Menge Anleitungen, wie man solche Minisöckchen häkeln kann. Tutorial: Using Cork on Scrapbook Projects

I’d used cork elements that I’d purchased as is on projects before. But I thought it was worth a try to create my own cork elements. I went ahead and bought a roll of cork that’s 1 mm thick, and find it works perfect for this type of project. Deutsch Ich halte immer Ausschau nach neuer Inspiration, und diesen Sommer sah ich, wie jemand mit Hilfe von Stempeln und Stanzen selbst Korkelemente für ihre Projekte erstellte. Schon vor Jahren habe ich mal irgendwo Korkelemente erstanden, die ich auf verschiedenen Projekten verwendet habe. Aber nun wollte ich mal probieren, selber derartige Elemente zu erstellen. Also habe ich mir eine Rolle 1mm dicken Kork besorgt, und habe festgestellt, wie einfach es zum Stempeln und Stanzen verwendet werden kann.
