Projekt Leben 2016 – Woche 45 I finished another week of project life, and am ready to show you the result. One of the more interesting things that happened this week was the flooding of our dining hall and lobby. But we’ve also been enjoying the most beautiful autumn. Document Christmas 2016 – A First Glance

Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Erster Einblick It’s finally here. Christmas season 2016. (At least in Germany with the first of Advent tomorrow, the season has officially started.) And have started my Document Christmas Project 2016. (I don’t really like to call it December Daily, because my Christmas season starts at the end of November and ends in the beginning of January – as for countless other people in Germany as well.) And as promised, here is a first glance at my project this year. You can actually see the TEMPLATE in action now, and maybe that’ll help you get inspired, too. I used all three styles that came with the template, and of course, the photo pockets, that I’ve been sharing as freebies lately. The other day, I was looking through some December Daily inspiration on the www, because I’ve been giving more thought to my own project this year. And I know, I know, in my post last week, I said I was going to go with what I already had. But then, it happened. I started getting creative again. Bastelecke: Karte Nr. 80   I finished another card that I want to share with you today. I used my own freebie kit “Where Blessings Fall” to print the patterned paper layers, which I cut out with my Cameo. I also ran a piece of white card stock through my Sizzix to create the wood grain texture. Then I assembled everything into this little birthday card. Ich habe eine weitere Karte fertiggestellt, die ich euch heute zeigen möchte. Ich habe dazu mein eigenes Freebie Kit “Where Blessings Fall” verwendet, um die Motivpapiere zu auszudrucken und dann mit meiner Cameo auszuschneiden. Ein weißes Papier habe ich dann noch durch meine Sizzix geschickt, um die Holzfasertextur zu erstellen. Dann habe ich alles zu einer kleinen Geburtstagskarte zusammengefügt.

Inspiration am Mittwoch: Scrapbook Mini Album Tutorial (Dezember Tagebuch)   In this week’s post, I’d like to share something for my German speaking readers. The other day, I stumbled upon this awesome youtube tutorial for a (December Daily) mini album. It’s in German (which is rare, because scrapbooking in Germany just isn’t a very big thing. It’s a really pretty album, so even if you don’t speak German you might want to hop over there to take a look. Diese Woche möchte ich gerne etwas an meine deutschsprachigen Leser weitergeben. Kürzlich bin ich auf ein ganz tolles Youtube Tutorial für ein (Dezember Tagebuch) Mini Album. Es ist auf deutsch (was selten ist, da Scrapbooking in Deutschland einfach nicht so bekannt ist. Es ist ein hübsches Album, also, auch wer kein deutsch spricht, kann davon vielleicht inspiriert werden.

Project Life 2015 – Week 41

Projekt Leben 2015 – Woche 41   I finished another week of project life, for which I used Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s “Let’s Get Cozy” digital scrapbooking kit as well as one of my own photo pockets. I only took a few pictures that week. But I remembered to take a screen shot of my weather app, showing that the weather was still quite nice and summery that week. Leftover pockets I filled with embellishments and journaling cards. Here’s the spread: Eine weitere Projekt Leben Woche ist vorbei. Und für diese Seite habe ich Kristin Cronin-Barrows “Let’s Get Cozy” digitales Scrapbooking Kit verwendet und eine meiner eigenen Fototaschen. In der Woche habe ich nur ein paar Fotos gemacht. Aber ich habe daran gedacht, einen Screenshot von meiner Wetterapp zu machen, was zeigt, dass das Wetter immer noch recht sommerlich war. Weitere Taschen habe ich mit Verzierungen und Karten gefüllt. Bastelecke: Karte Nr. 79   I’ve made a new card that I want to show you this week. This one’s made with Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s and Brook Magee’s brandnew digital scrapbooking kit “Chaos and Love” which is coming to the Sweetshoppe Store this weekend. I simply layered a couple of patterned papers and added a few embellishments. Ich habe eine neue Karte gebastelt, die ich euch diese Woche zeigen möchte. Ich habe es mit einem neuen digitalen scrapbooking Kit von Kristin Cronin-Barrow und Brook Magee (Chaos and Love) gebastelt. (Das Kit kommt am Wochenende in den Laden von sweetshoppedesigns.com. Ich habe einfach ein paar Motivpapiere übereinander gelagert und ein paar Verzierungen hinzugefügt.
