Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Hello Winter

We had an unusual amount of snow that lasted longer than the usual two days, and as always – we made the most of it. And I wanted to preserve the memories in a little traveler’s notebook album. I used the paper pad Winter Forest and created my first page using a bit of mixed media with watercolor paint splats and stamps. And I also ran the paper through my sewing machine. 2018 December Journaling Card Inspiration

2018 Dezember Karten Inspiration Today I thought I’d show you the journaling cards I’ll be using for my December Album this year. I designed most of them for last year’s Document December Album, loved how they turned out and decided I wanted to use them again. I merely switched the colors to match this year’s project. I’d love to share them with you. However, I’m not sure about copyright/ commercial rights of the fonts I used. Of course, sharing them as freebies, I wouldn’t make any money off these cards, and sharing them in flattened png images, they wouldn’t be of use to anyone else, still, I haven’t figured out whether using them to share with you guys is legal, and I don’t want to get into trouble over something that I give away as freebies. If any of you know the details about copyright laws, etc. you’re welcome to drop a comment below to point me in the right direction. Document December 2018 – A First Glimpse

December, however, usually is also the busiest month of the year for me, what with all the traditions and the celebrations. At the same time, I love doing Document December projects to commemorate the season. Last year, I bought a pretty Christmas paper pack that I was eager to use. But all the while I was wondering: How can I embark on another December Daily journey without it taking too much of my time? The answer: A super simple album that I prepare ahead of time, and that I then only need to fill with photos and journaling. So, I can honestly say, I’ve never been so on top of things with my DD projects as this year. Admitted, I got behind for various reasons, but I’m still enjoying working on my pages. Bastelecke: Weihnachtskarten 2016 – Teil 2 Here comes  the second part of Christmas cards I wanted to show show you this year. As I said last week, I kept them pretty simple: just sent them through my embossing machine, and embellished a little. Hier kommt der 2. Teil meine Weihnachtskarten. Wie ich schon letzte Woche sagte: Dieses Jahr habe ich meine Weihnachtskarten recht einfach gehalten. Ich habe sie einfach durch meine Embossingmaschine geschickt und ein bisschen dekoriert.

Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #4 Ok, I admit it: I’ve gotten a bit behind with my December Daily at this point. But it’s still all good. I finished scrapping my fourth week, and with the foundation template I’ve been using this year, I’m still not feeling overwhelmed by the task.
