Remember a couple of weeks ago when I told you about the scare I had one night when one of the glass tiles of the roof in front of my window exploded, and shards even scattered into my bedroom?

Well, today the workers came to fix said roof tile. And although every apartment next to mine is empty these days, giving them lots of access without any disturbance to any residents, they somehow decided they wanted to climb onto the roof through my window. And so, that’s what I was able to watch – them fixing the roof that had robbed me of my sleep still very recently.

Erinnert ihr euch, wie ich vor ein paar Wochen über den nächtlichen Schrecken berichtete, den ich bekam, weil eine der Glasfliesen des Daches zerbarst?

Nun, heute war der Tag, an dem die Handwerker die Sache reparieren wollten. Und obwohl es mehr als ein halbes dutzend leere Apartments neben meinem gibt, von denen aus man bequem das Dach erreichen kann, musste es mein Schlafzimmerfenster sein, durch das die Handwerker krabbeln wollten.

Immerhin konnte ich hautnah erleben, wie das Dach ein Facelift bekam!
