Päckchentage

These are busy days for the delivery services around this country. You might remember me talking about Nov. 11th being a big sales day. Well, and so – aside from thousands of others around me these days – I have found a new occupation: running to the delivery service offices almost every day to pick up yet another parcel that has just arrived. Well, except, that instead of running I chose to use my bicycle. Goes faster and I might be able to do something else with my days.

Für Lieferdienste bei uns im Land gibt es im Augenblick ja alle Hände voll zu tun. Vielleicht erinnert ihr euch ja, dass ich euch vom 11. Nov. erzählt habe, und dass das ein ganz großer Verkaufstag hierzulande ist. Naja und da habe ich halt, wie so viele andere auch, in den letzten Tagen eine neue Beschäftigung gefunden: Zu den Päckchen-Büros laufen und wieder mal ein Päckchen abholen. Naja, mit der Ausnahme vielleicht, dass ich nicht laufe, sondern mein Radl nehme. Geht schneller, und dann hat man – wenn man Glück hat – vielleicht ja sogar die Zeit, noch was anderes mit seiner Zeit anzufangen.
