Freebie Friday: Harvest of Happiness – Part 1
I managed to finish my next freebie kit – and as promised it’s perfect to scrap all those autumn photos you might take this fall.
As usually, this kit is jam-packed with goodies, some of them uniquely created for this kit. You’ll get a set of 7 solid and 15 patterned papers, and well over 60 elements.
We’ll start again with the alphas.
My Terms of Use apply, so you can only use this kit (or parts of it) for your own personal use.
If you’ve missed older freebie kits, they’re still available (tag “freebie”).
And now, happy scrapping, friends. I hope you’ll enjoy this new kit.
Previous freebie kits (still available):

Journaling Café: Stories
We all have stories to tell. And we all have ways and preferences of how we like to tell those stories. Today’s journaling prompts are all about those stories we tell:
I had a rather interesting story happen just the other day, and here’s the page I created to tell that story:

Home, Smelly Home?
So, those of you who’ve been around my little world for a while know of all the drama I had in the spring, trying to get my bathroom fixed (which has a major leak). Finally returning home after a summer away, of course, I was very curious what had happened to all the mold, the water in the bathroom floor, the fixing that had been promised. And lo, and behold, when coming home, the first thing I noticed was that things had been “fixed.” Of course, that fixing that took place was not the kind of fixing that I was hoping for … because it looks like all new and pretty on the outside, but the problems on the inside still persist. So, the story continues …
A Hero of the Special Kind
I have a mind for traveling. So, today, I’ve been out and about for a very long, short day (because my day will be lots shorter – 6 hours, to be precise – than the average day is). I also got to spend lots of time at various airports, and then I got to meet my hero – who went out of his way to make sure I’d catch my connecting flight. And when I say “out of his way”, I really mean, he went far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced before: he organized a vehicle to quickly get me from one terminal to the other (and he came along with me to make sure I’d find the right check-in counter immediately); he called at the check-in counter before I arrived so that all my stuff (boarding pass, luggage tag, etc.) was ready before I even got there; he by-passed the line to get my boarding pass and stuff to directly hand it over to me and take care of my luggage, and he showed me the way to the security check-point.
He works for the airport (just some guy who works at some desk but had just gotten off work when I stopped him to tell him of my dilemma, so he did all of that when he should’ve actually been on his way home, enjoying his free afternoon!), and I wish I’d had the presence of mind to ask him his name to recommend him as an outstanding worker, but in my rush of things I totally forgot. And now, he must remain – forever – that anonymous hero that got me onto my connecting flight when there should’ve been no natural way for me to make it in time!
Thank you, unknown hero!

Freebie Friday: School Is Cool – Part 5
Can you believe it? I’m already sharing the last part of this freebie kit, which means you finally get to play with it! Yay for that. Today you’ll get the remaining part of the embellishments.
Remember to pay attention to my Terms of Use (personal use only).
And now, all I have left to do is to hint at the fact that my next freebie kit is in the making, that is, it’s almost completed. And I’ll say this much: it’s perfect for scrapping all those autumn moments in your life. So make sure to check back here soon, so that you don’t miss to collect all the parts.
PS. If you’ve missed some of the older freebie kits, they’re still available for download. (Just check the tag “freebies” and you’ll find plenty of stuff to download!)
