I’m still working with the paper pack “Winter Forest,” and I really wanted to create a design that spans the entire page, top to bottom. Because the paper is only 6×6 inches, but the page is 8 1/4 inches tall, it’s usually not possible. I dealt with this problem by creating a photo mat for the two photos, and the strip of patterned paper behind it is cut in two pieces and arranged at the top and the bottom. With my die cuts I added a bit of foliage behind the photo. The snowman I stamped on white card stock and then fussy cut it out. But the background is stamped directly on the page. The word strips were quickly added. For the title, I watercolored some white card stock, then cut the letters with one of my die cut alphas and tucked it next to the snowman.
