Freebie Freitag: Autumn Song – Teil 5   Friday is always a good day because it doesn’t only mean that the weekend is just around the corner, it also means that it’s time for another freebie installment. This time you’ll get the first part of the ellies and that means there’s only one part left to finish the entire collection. I must almost congratulate you, therefore. I’d also like to inform you that I’ve worked hard to design my next freebie collection, which is definitely one of my best collections so far (I think), and I’m happy to report that it’s all done and sitting on my hard drive waiting to be uploaded. With that, however, I also have to say that said hard drive has been given me troubles and I haven’t been able to access it in two days (bummer there, because I didn’t even get an opportunity to upload the collection to mediafire yet as I just finished it before the drive went numb; so let’s really hope it’s only a temporary …

Hybrid Hub: Card #80

Bastelecke: Karte Nr. 80   I finished another card that I want to share with you today. I used my own freebie kit “Where Blessings Fall” to print the patterned paper layers, which I cut out with my Cameo. I also ran a piece of white card stock through my Sizzix to create the wood grain texture. Then I assembled everything into this little birthday card. Ich habe eine weitere Karte fertiggestellt, die ich euch heute zeigen möchte. Ich habe dazu mein eigenes Freebie Kit “Where Blessings Fall” verwendet, um die Motivpapiere zu auszudrucken und dann mit meiner Cameo auszuschneiden. Ein weißes Papier habe ich dann noch durch meine Sizzix geschickt, um die Holzfasertextur zu erstellen. Dann habe ich alles zu einer kleinen Geburtstagskarte zusammengefügt.

Inspiration am Mittwoch: Scrapbook Mini Album Tutorial (Dezember Tagebuch)   In this week’s post, I’d like to share something for my German speaking readers. The other day, I stumbled upon this awesome youtube tutorial for a (December Daily) mini album. It’s in German (which is rare, because scrapbooking in Germany just isn’t a very big thing. It’s a really pretty album, so even if you don’t speak German you might want to hop over there to take a look. Diese Woche möchte ich gerne etwas an meine deutschsprachigen Leser weitergeben. Kürzlich bin ich auf ein ganz tolles Youtube Tutorial für ein (Dezember Tagebuch) Mini Album. Es ist auf deutsch (was selten ist, da Scrapbooking in Deutschland einfach nicht so bekannt ist. Es ist ein hübsches Album, also, auch wer kein deutsch spricht, kann davon vielleicht inspiriert werden.

Project Life 2015 – Week 41

Projekt Leben 2015 – Woche 41   I finished another week of project life, for which I used Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s “Let’s Get Cozy” digital scrapbooking kit as well as one of my own photo pockets. I only took a few pictures that week. But I remembered to take a screen shot of my weather app, showing that the weather was still quite nice and summery that week. Leftover pockets I filled with embellishments and journaling cards. Here’s the spread: Eine weitere Projekt Leben Woche ist vorbei. Und für diese Seite habe ich Kristin Cronin-Barrows “Let’s Get Cozy” digitales Scrapbooking Kit verwendet und eine meiner eigenen Fototaschen. In der Woche habe ich nur ein paar Fotos gemacht. Aber ich habe daran gedacht, einen Screenshot von meiner Wetterapp zu machen, was zeigt, dass das Wetter immer noch recht sommerlich war. Weitere Taschen habe ich mit Verzierungen und Karten gefüllt. Freebie Freitag: Autumn Song – Teil 4   This is probably the part most of you have waited for (PL packs are usually the most downloaded items in my collection of freebies). This one’s made with Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s and Brook Magee’s brandnew digital scrapbooking kit “Chaos and Love” which is coming to the Sweetshoppe Store this weekend. I simply layered a couple of patterned papers and added a few embellishments. Ich habe eine neue Karte gebastelt, die ich euch diese Woche zeigen möchte. Ich habe es mit einem neuen digitalen scrapbooking Kit von Kristin Cronin-Barrow und Brook Magee (Chaos and Love) gebastelt. (Das Kit kommt am Wochenende in den Laden von sweetshoppedesigns.com. Ich habe einfach ein paar Motivpapiere übereinander gelagert und ein paar Verzierungen hinzugefügt.

Inspiration am Mittwoch: Freebies, Inspiration & Designs von AK Designs   I couldn’t wait for today to come to post about this. The other day, I happened upon the blog of AK Designs who is mainly a template designer, and an awesome one at that! I loved pouring over her blog to get inspired by layouts created by her amazing creative team, her templates (she has awesome PL templates as well) and last but not least the freebie templates she frequently shares on her blog.
