Ein Familien-Eis-Ausflug   So, it’s been really hot outside lately. And when I say hot, I mean sizzling hot. And anyone in or near Germany knows that means it’s pretty tough to stand because our summers are usually pretty cool, so no one generally has A/C or anything of the sort. Of course, we know our ways around the heat, which usually involves going to the mall (which generally have A/Cs) or the swimming pool. But I had a really brilliant idea the other day (though, admitted, I can’t credit myself of having a quite unique idea). I suggested we could go to one of Germany’s famous ice-cream parlors (which are also very popular resorts in summer). Everyone in the family found the idea quite splendid except for the fact that the very first day we were able to finally get everyone together was also the very day the temperature suddenly dropped by 10 or more degrees.
