Ein Besuch in Colmar   Having a nephew can have its perks at times. Like the other day. For my sister’s kids, the summer holidays are around the corner, and as things go in school, they tend to go pretty slow toward the end of the school year. So slow in fact, that dear nephew had a random day off school and wanted to take a couple of friends to an amusement park. My sister, of course, wasn’t too amused (as she was requested to be the designated driver), but she humored herself with the consolation that we could spend the day in France. Colmar and Riquewihr to be precise. So, after dropping off the kids at their destination, we travelled on, to explore the little French town of Colmar. And if you’ve never been there before and happen to be in the area, I can quite recommend the place to you.
