Check it out: Monday Highlight 11/22

As you might have realized, I have two separate blogs running on my website: 1. One about life in China, 2. the second is all about digital scrapbooking. Generally, I’ll keep these two blogs apart from each other, so that those not interested in scrapbooking won’t have to deal with it when visiting my general blog and vice versa. However, since there is a lot going on at the Digi-Scrap Corner, I’ve decided that once a week, on Mondays, I’ll post my scrapbook contribution in the general blog as well, just to allow my general readers a peek into the digiscrap world. So, come on over and check out my first ever Monday Highlight, featuring “Wonderful” by Melissa Bennett and my layouts “Forbidden City” & “Facing Time”.

Monday Highlight 11/22

Well, my blog is up and running since the beginning of this month, and as I’m still trying to get into a routine of posting certain topics on a weekly basis, let me introduce you to the newest feature – the Monday Highlight. Saturday Feature: My Little “Prince”

It’s time for the Saturday Feature again, and today I want to introduce to you another one of my little “friends”: my tennis racket. I got this little guy from a good friend of mine more than two years ago when I actually bought a Wilson tennis racket, only to discover that it was too heavy for me and ruined my arm. So, my friend and I switched rackets and ever since then I’ve been charmed by this little Prince! I’ve played with “him” many times, have shared with him the joys of a successful hit, as well as walked with him through the dark valleys of failure when I simply messed up my game! He knows what it means to feel beaten up and really can identify with the way I’m feeling when I’ve been having a bad day. He also helps me a lot in making new friends among the students who play tennis here at school. After all, he is a little prince charming. However, when school started again back in September, …
