Deutsch Heute darf ich wieder eine Seite meines Dezember Albums 2019 präsentieren. For this page, I created a flap on the left page, and a pocket with pine trees for the right page. I embellished everything with some of my stamps and Christmas themed dies. Für diese Seite habe ich Klappen auf der linken Seite verwendet, und ein Einsteckfach mit Tannenbäumen auf der rechten Seite. Dekoriert habe ich das Ganze mit Stanzen und Stempeln. But this last summer, I was in the mood to finish this long overdue project. And it got me quite in the mood for Christmas even then. Freebie: 5×5 Stringed Mini Album with Gusset Pages

This time I have something for Silhouette Studio users. I love creating mini albums, and over that last couple of years, I’ve created a good number of them. This one I designed completely from scratch to use with 5×5 inch paper sizes. You see, recently I found these adorable 10 inch paper packs that I fell in love with. And they were perfect to cut down to 5 inch paper sizes. So, I needed an album to go with it. The albums I have in my Silhouette library are all exactly 5×5, for which I’d either have to cut down the papers a bit, or resize the album, but that often messes with thee proportions. Or the library albums had very rounded corners, or … you get the idea. So, I decided to start with a true 5×5 inch paper size and design my album around it. I …

2018 December Journaling Card Inspiration

2018 Dezember Karten Inspiration Today I thought I’d show you the journaling cards I’ll be using for my December Album this year. I designed most of them for last year’s Document December Album, loved how they turned out and decided I wanted to use them again. I merely switched the colors to match this year’s project. I’d love to share them with you. However, I’m not sure about copyright/ commercial rights of the fonts I used. Of course, sharing them as freebies, I wouldn’t make any money off these cards, and sharing them in flattened png images, they wouldn’t be of use to anyone else, still, I haven’t figured out whether using them to share with you guys is legal, and I don’t want to get into trouble over something that I give away as freebies. If any of you know the details about copyright laws, etc. you’re welcome to drop a comment below to point me in the right direction. Document December 2018 – A First Glimpse

December, however, usually is also the busiest month of the year for me, what with all the traditions and the celebrations. At the same time, I love doing Document December projects to commemorate the season. Last year, I bought a pretty Christmas paper pack that I was eager to use. But all the while I was wondering: How can I embark on another December Daily journey without it taking too much of my time? The answer: A super simple album that I prepare ahead of time, and that I then only need to fill with photos and journaling. So, I can honestly say, I’ve never been so on top of things with my DD projects as this year. Admitted, I got behind for various reasons, but I’m still enjoying working on my pages. Mein Weihnachtsalbum 2016 – Wochenrückblick #4 Ok, I admit it: I’ve gotten a bit behind with my December Daily at this point. But it’s still all good. I finished scrapping my fourth week, and with the foundation template I’ve been using this year, I’m still not feeling overwhelmed by the task.
