Traveler’s Notebook Layout: BRRR

For this one, I started by painting the background with watercolor. Once the color dried, I stamped the faux stitching line, film strip and other elements. Then, after roughing up the edges of the paper, I added the tag that I die cut. For the title, I first watercolored some cardstock and ran it through my die cutting tool with one of my die cut alphas. I did the same with the flowers, punched the snowflake from a punch, and added the word strips. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Snow

I cut pieces of paper from the paper pad “Winter Forest, added a few more stamps, word strips, and the photo. For the title, I first watercolored some paper, before cutting it with one of my die cut alphas. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Hygge

It’s a mixed media page and I began by drawing stripes with watercolor. I also added some paint splats. After roughing up the edges of the papers from the paper pad “Winter Forest,” I added those, and using two square die cuts of varying sizes, cut out two frames that I doodled on. For finishing touches I added word strips and the pair of die cut mittens that I cut from paper that I had colored with watercolor. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: January Magic

Once the watercolor dried, I added the papers, poto, and embellishments. I made two clusters – one large one, and one photoless one on the top right side. Here, I also stamped the background before adding any papers and embellishments. The title I partly stamped, partly used one of my die cut alphas. I also stamped and fussy cut a few labels. To give everything its finishing touches, I punched a few snowflakes and die cut various pieces of foliage and the bow. The title I stamped, partly directly on the background, some of them on small die cut pieces.
