Travel Log: A Weekend Trip

Reisetagebuch: Eine Wochenendreise   Once more we set out on a journey. A journey, which involved a nice and comfortable train ride, and a good dinner. But rather than writing down the story, I’ll let the pictures do the talking: Wir haben uns mal wieder aufgemacht.

Of 15 Minutes and How They Can Mean the World

As you know, we’ve been out and about, actually mostly trying to avoid big adventures, but today, alas, on our last day, our journey back, we actually got to have all that excitement, all that adrenaline that we’d managed so well to avoid so far. And it all started with 15 minutes. 15 minutes, which I thought we’d still have to stop by for lunch on our way between the airport and the train station. 15 minutes which we spent at McDonald’s to quickly down a little food before moving on, but when we got to the subway station, I realized that those 15 minutes might have outdone us. Why? Because of the holiday. And because of the flocks of people streaming into the subway station from all sides trying to make the subway just as much as we wanted. And what with those endless lines to buy tickets and get through security – it didn’t take more than counting 2 + 2 together …

Out Adventuring

Mal wieder am Abenteuern   Yes, you’ve judged correctly: I’m out and about again. This time, it’s taking us out far west. But even though every journey around here is an adventure, what’s actually on our itinerary is to meet with lots of people, to eat ice-cream and to frequent various cafes. The fact that we’ve been using 5 different means of transportation today to get where we wanted to go (car, bullet train, subway, bus 2x, and plane) might sound adventurous to some of you already, but everything worked out so well (except maybe for the fact that we went to the wrong train station at first and just barely made it to the right train), that we’re still waiting for the real adventure to start … …

Hybrid Hub: DIY Mini Album “Mainau”

Bastelecke: DIY Minialbum “Mainau”   Hi friends, I’m back to share with you another mini album that I made not too long ago. This one’s definitely the most fancy one I ever did. It comes with lots of flaps, pockets, and many things to discover. It also has lots of room for photos. I made it using a combination of digital and traditional scrapbooking products as well as some Silhouette cutting files. The main products used are the digital scrapbooking kit “Don’t Cry, Blue Skies” by Libby Pritchett & Mari Koegelenberg, and the sticker and ephemera parts of the Hello Sunshine Collection by Pink Paislee.   Hallo Freunde!
