CT Spotlight (12/11)

Time for this week’s CT spotlight and today I’d like to start with Libby Pritchett’s “2 Thumbs Up” – a movie themed collaboration kit she whipped up together with Penny Springmann (both SSD). And Darcy Baldwin has a new Marshmellow Alpha out, as well as her new fonts: Tara Writes.

CT Spotlight (12/04)

It’s Sweetshoppe Saturday again, and this means there are some new releases by Libby and Darcy. First off, Darcy has the new Treat of the Month templates out, this month “Inspired by Laci.” And once you’re there, don’t forget to pick up the fun Bingo templates by Libby (also using Darcy’s new 8×8 Bragging Templates on this layout).

In the Spotlight (11/28)

I’m so excited to highlight “Happy Holidays” by Kjersti in this week’s “spotlight”. I saw it on the Sweetshoppe blog earlier last week and immediately knew it was going to make today’s post here in the Digi-Scrap Corner. I especially love the cluster behind the photo on this page – all the different elements arranged with the evergreens – so beautiful! The big title is so fun, and have you seen the button/bow combination which she used to “fix” the date tag? Adorable!

Have you checked out Libby Pritchett’s new release this weekend? It’s a beautiful Christmas kit called “Jelly of the Month Club.” Darcy Baldwin also has several products that are new to the store: “A Script for What Ails Ya,” “DJB Writes A Lot” and “My Boys Stamped It” – another pretty cool alpha. Be sure to check out the Sweetshoppe, especially since they’re having their biggest sale of the year right now! You don’t wanna miss out on that!

Check it out: Monday Highlight 11/22

As you might have realized, I have two separate blogs running on my website: 1. One about life in China, 2. the second is all about digital scrapbooking. Generally, I’ll keep these two blogs apart from each other, so that those not interested in scrapbooking won’t have to deal with it when visiting my general blog and vice versa. However, since there is a lot going on at the Digi-Scrap Corner, I’ve decided that once a week, on Mondays, I’ll post my scrapbook contribution in the general blog as well, just to allow my general readers a peek into the digiscrap world. So, come on over and check out my first ever Monday Highlight, featuring “Wonderful” by Melissa Bennett and my layouts “Forbidden City” & “Facing Time”.

Monday Highlight 11/22

Well, my blog is up and running since the beginning of this month, and as I’m still trying to get into a routine of posting certain topics on a weekly basis, let me introduce you to the newest feature – the Monday Highlight. Each Monday I will focus on one scrapbook product from my stash, point out some of its features and show you what I’ve done with it. So, for our very first ever “Monday Highlight” let’s take a look at … Wonderful by Melissa Bennett I fell in love with this kit as soon as I saw the new release in the store a couple of weeks ago at SSD. Maybe the no. 1 thing I love about “Wonderful”* is the color palette, ranging from light blues to different shades of gray with pops of soft pinks and reds  in there. Next, I totally fell for those paper rosettes, which have become very popular recently and make beautiful clusters on any layout, and I love the two doodled paper flowers just as much. …
