Mini Album: Seaside Adventure Part 2

I created this album several years ago, and used the 5×5 Mini Album with Gussets as a base. This album is available as a free cut file here on this site. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Summer Eve

The main focus of this page, obviously is the flower cluster for which I used the “Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies” from Spellbinders, and some thinner cardstock. Because that flower cluster goes right down through the center of the page, I had to be careful with gluing down every last bit of that cluster. But since I like treating my traveler’s notebook spreads like a single scrapbook page, I think it still works, even when the cluster had to be cut through the middle. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Enjoy Today

Anzeige (Enthält Produktempfehlung) / Advertisement (Contains product endorsement) EnglishFor this layout, I cut some papers in the shape of banners, added a few more rectangles and paper strips, and used a larger, brushed stamp for the background. I embellished everything with die cut elements and stamps that I fussy cut, or other ephemera from my stash. And the title was partially stamped, partially die cut from paper that was painted with water color. DeutschFür diese Seite habe ich Papier in Flaggenform ausgeschnitten, und noch ein paar weitere Rechtecke und Papierstreifen hinzugefügt. Für den Hintergrund habe ich einen gepinselten Stempel verwendet. Das Ganze wurde dann mit gestanzten und gestempelten Elementen dekoriert. Und der Titel wurde zum Teil gestempelt, zum Teil aus mit Wasserfarben bemaltem Papier gestanzt. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Grow

I stamped the flower, making sure to use two colors of stamping ink, and then die cut that flower, and the title. I also used a strip of Washi tape on this page. DeutschMir gefielen die Papier so, und deshalb habe ich das Design einfach gehalten, damit möglichst viel vom Papier zur Geltung kommen kann. Die Blume habe ich mit zwei Stempelfarben gestempelt und dann gestanzt. Und auch den Titel habe ich ausgestanzt. Nicht zuletzt habe ich einen Streifen Washi Tape auf dem Layout verwendet. Once again, it’s a sketch/template that you can use either as inspiration or as cut file. And it’s not really limited to Traveler’s Notebook type pages. You can also simply use these pages on a normal 12×12 scrapbook layout, or an 8×8 by size scrapbook page. (Simply resize everything.) Here is the original layout that this sketch was based on. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Good Day

Then on some watercolored paper I stamped the flowers and die cut those as well as the foliage. The title I stamped, and then used one of my die cut alphas and a circle die cut to create the main word. DeutschFür dieses Layout habe ich Rechtecke von verschiedener Größe aus dem gemusterten Papier geschnitten und auf der Seite angeordnet. Dann habe ich auf mit Wasserfarben bemaltem Papier die Blumen gestempelt und diese zusammen mit dem Grünzeug ausgestanzt. Den Titel habe ich zum Teil gestempelt und den zweiten Teil mit meinen Alpha Stanzen und einer Kreisstanze ausgestanzt. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Relax

Two I kept as simple rectangles, one I cut into a flag shape, the other one I used one of my die cuts to turn it into a tag. For my embellishments, I used stamps with their coordinating die cuts, and the big flower comes in several layers. Last, for the title I used card stock that I watercolored and then one of my alpha die cut sets. DeutschIch kann euch meine nächste Seite vorstellen. Und für diese habe ich mehrere gemusterte Papiere verwendet. Zwei der Papiere habe ich in einfache Rechtecke geschnitten. Ein weiteres habe ich zu einer Fahne geschnitten, und noch ein weiteres habe ich als Etikett gestanzt. Dekoriert habe ich das Ganze mit Elementen, die ich gestempelt und gestanzt habe. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: At the Park

For this one I cut four paper strips of two contrasting colors to go at the top and the bottom of the page. I also stamped and die cut a bunch of flowers and leaves. For the flowers I used plain white card stock. For the leaves, I used a green card stock, and paper that I’d watercolored beforehand. Finally, for the title I used two sets of die cuts, and cut the word “Park” from one of the patterned paper, while the other words I cut from card stock that I’d watercolored with a similar shade of gray as in the papers.
