P2D: Zermatt

P2D simply means turning traditionally scrapped paper layouts into digital layouts by scraplifting them. For today’s post, I found an awesome page that had lots of fun things that really caught my eye: About this page, I loved all the fun layers of papers and embellies. I loved the big cluster of embellishments, the paint splats and the torn paper pieces, and these things I tried to incorporate on my own page:

P2D – An Extraordinary Journey

Traditional paper layouts are an endless source of inspiration. For this week’s paper to digi post I found this page here by Kawi: What I love about this page is the various layers of papers & elements, and how everything was kept at the top edge of the page. I also loved the journaling spot, and it’s these things that I tried to imitate on my own page. Here’s how that turned out:

P2D: Hell’s Valley

I’ve found another page I thought would be fun to turn into a digital scraplift. Check out this page by WaiSam: I loved the paper strips behind the photo about this page. But also the placement of the big title, the tiny little elements and the photo collage. So, I went ahead and tried to incorporate these things on my own page …

P2D: Beautiful Dreamer

Paper to Digi means I’m taking a traditionally scrapped paper layout and scraplift it so as to create a digital layout. This week, I found this lovely page that immediately inspired me: What I loved about this page was the composition, the piece of word art that got so much focus, the placement of the title, and all the little scattered elements. It’s what I tried to incorporate on my own page (and, of course, this time the topic of the page inspired me as well). So, here’s how my page with this turned out:

P2D: We Two

This week with my family has been fun, and so I decided to scrap about one of the things that happened. But first, of course, I should show you the layout that inspired my page:   Ok, so what I loved about this page was the overall composition and all the little details, like the hard element, the butterfly, the little wordart pieces. I also loved the use of paper as a mat, so I tried to incorporate a couple of these things on a digital page of my own, and here’s what came of it …

P2D: Remember This … Life is Beautiful

I found a fun page again that I took upon me to scraplift. Check out this layout, which was posted in the Sunday Sketch section at Studio Calico.   Like it? Me, too. What I loved about this layout apart from the way the title had been created, was the paper arrows, stitches, and the papers layered behind the photo. I also loved the bright and whimsical colors, so I went ahead and tried to incorporate most of these things on my own page …
