Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Freezin Season

I also stamped and fussy cut a few labels. To give everything its finishing touches, I punched a few snowflakes and die cut various pieces of foliage and the bow. The title I stamped, partly directly on the background, some of them on small die cut pieces. Schließlich kamen noch ein paar Schneeflocken und ein bisschen Grünzeug dazu. Den Titel habe ich zum Teil direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt, zum Teil auf kleine Rechtecke. Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Winter Dream

I cut several hearts from my patterned paper (Winter Forest), as well as a simple rectangular piece. The hearts I also ran through my sewing machine. Then I added the photo and a few word strips. The title was partly stamped, partly cut from one of my die cut alphas. For the title I used one of the die cut alphas from my stash. The flowers, too, comes from one of my die cut sets. The word strips I made myself on the computer. We had an unusual amount of snow that lasted longer than the usual two days, and as always – we made the most of it. And I wanted to preserve the memories in a little traveler’s notebook album. I used the paper pad Winter Forest and created my first page using a bit of mixed media with watercolor paint splats and stamps. And I also ran the paper through my sewing machine. Freebie: 5×5 Stringed Mini Album with Gusset Pages

This time I have something for Silhouette Studio users. I love creating mini albums, and over that last couple of years, I’ve created a good number of them. This one I designed completely from scratch to use with 5×5 inch paper sizes. You see, recently I found these adorable 10 inch paper packs that I fell in love with. And they were perfect to cut down to 5 inch paper sizes. So, I needed an album to go with it. The albums I have in my Silhouette library are all exactly 5×5, for which I’d either have to cut down the papers a bit, or resize the album, but that often messes with thee proportions. 2018 Dezember Karten Inspiration Today I thought I’d show you the journaling cards I’ll be using for my December Album this year. I designed most of them for last year’s Document December Album, loved how they turned out and decided I wanted to use them again. I merely switched the colors to match this year’s project. I’d love to share them with you. However, I’m not sure about copyright/ commercial rights of the fonts I used. Of course, sharing them as freebies, I wouldn’t make any money off these cards, and sharing them in flattened png images, they wouldn’t be of use to anyone else, still, I haven’t figured out whether using them to share with you guys is legal, and I don’t want to get into trouble over something that I give away as freebies. If any of you know the details about copyright laws, etc. you’re welcome to drop a comment below to point me in the right direction.
