Journaling Café: Year's End

Whaa, the end of the year has snuck up on me without even giving me much time to think about it. So, it’s about time to do some end-of-the-year reflections. I find that thinking about the good and the bad of the past year helps in formulating those new resolutions at the beginning of each year which can give our lives purpose and direction. I, therefore, present to you the last journaling prompt of 2012: And here’s my page, showing some of the highlights this past year:

Journaling Café: Christmas Wishes

One more week, and we will begin the Christmas 2012 celebrations! Can you believe another year has gone by so fast? Anyhow, since for Christmas a lot of people think about their wishes, their hopes and dreams, today’s journaling prompts will encourage you to reflect a little on your wishes (or the wishes of those you care for). And for starters, I have made a page of my own: Font used in the journaling prompt above is DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin. Available at Sweetshoppe Designs.

Journaling Café: Celebrating the Season

It’s official now: Christmas season has started. At least in that part of the world where I come from. Yesterday, we lit the first candle on our advent wreaths, and with that the celebrations of the Christmas season twenty-twelve have begun. So, today I’ve compiled a list of journaling prompts that will help you preserve the memories of activities and things you do to celebrate this season. And here’s my page on one of the prompts: The font used for the prompts is my own handwriting font DJB Squirrels In My Pants by Darcy Baldwin (available at the Sweetshoppe).

Journaling Café: Getting Ready for Christmas

My favorite time of the year – the Christmas season – is about to start, and so today’s journaling prompts are all about getting ready for the season: And since I also had something to say about my preparations, I made a page, too: The font used for the prompts is my own handwriting font DJB Squirrels In My Pants by Darcy Baldwin (available at the Sweetshoppe).

Journaling Café: Season of Thanks

Though I didn’t grow up celebrating Thanksgiving the way any Americans would do, Thanksgiving has become a more important holiday to me over the last couple of years. And anyways, I think we can always work at becoming more thankful, so today’s journaling prompts are naturally all about the upcoming holiday, and the things we can be thankful for in our lives … And here’s my take on one of these prompts:

Journaling Café: November

Well, we’re well into November already, and so I thought it would be a great idea to stop and think a little about what November (aside from Thanksgiving) has in store for us. Why not journal about the day to day mundane things as well as the big milestones we experience this month? Here are today’s journal prompts: And since I love all things Christmas, I thought I’d scrap about my anticipations concerning this year’s Christmas season. So, here’s my page: The font used for the prompts is my own handwriting font DJB Squirrels In My Pants by Darcy Baldwin (available at the Sweetshoppe).

Journaling Café: Autumn

For many of us, fall is in full swing. It’s a great opportunity to think – and journal – about autumn – the fun aspects of it as well as those which cause us to struggle. Here’s the latest journal inspiration I have for you: And of course, I’ll share my own thoughts about autumn as well:   The font used for the prompts is my own handwriting font DJB Squirrels In My Pants by Darcy Baldwin (available at the Sweetshoppe).

Journaling Café: Living Intentional

Many scrappers choose a word at the beginning of the year that serves as a motto to them throughout the year. I’ve seen some people choose the word “Intentional,” and so this week I thought, our journaling prompts could be about living intentional: Maybe these journal prompts will even inspire a page or two for you this week. Journaling Café: Insecurities

We all deal with insecurities, one way or another. And sometimes it’s good to reflect on these insecurities to discover where they affect our lives, or even the lives of others. Here are a couple of prompts that help you journal about your insecurities. And here’s a page I did, processing things on my own: The font used here is my own handwriting font DJB Squirrels In My Pants by Darcy Baldwin (available at the Sweetshoppe).
