Journaling Café: Conversation

We talk. Everyday. To a lot of people. But how many of our conversations actually make it onto our scrapbook pages or into our journaling? Today, I got you a couple of prompts to journal about conversations and the way we communicate. And of course, I can’t let you go without giving you some inspiration with one of my own pages …

Journaling Café: My Day

Today, in the Journaling Café we’ll be focusing on our daily routine. Project Life being all the rage at the moment, it is about recording what seems to be neglected in our memory keeping so much: the mundane, the simple life. Take a look at today’s journaling prompts, and see if any of these could inspire you to put some of your thoughts to paper …   Of course, I gave myself the task of recording something very mundane, and here’s how my page turned out …

Journaling Café: Letting Go

Oftentimes, we focus so much on the light and happy times in life, that we forget to look at the difficult times (something which is true, I think, especially when it comes to us scrapping about the events in our lives). Today’s journal prompts, therefore, will focus a bit more on the hard and heavy side of life. And here is my  page, journaling a bit about losses and a very sad story.

Journaling Café: Happiness is …

Too easily we get caught up with our daily routine, that we only take little time to think about the things in life that make us happy. Today, I’ve got a couple of journaling prompts focusing on those little pleasures in life without which life would be dull and meaningless. And, of course, as always, I worked on a page of my own:

Journaling Café: Everyday Simple Things

While pretty much all of us love the special occasions in life, things that make our lives fun and exciting, to be honest, most of our lives take place in the everyday routine, the mundane things. But usually, its the little things which take up most of our lives that get neglected the most in our journaling and scrapbooking. So, today, I came up with a couple of journaling prompts that will help you slow down for a moment and think about the simple things in everyday life. And of course, I already reflected myself, and here’s the page I came up with:  Font used in the prompt is DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin, available at sweetshoppe.com

Journaling Café: Journal Pages

It’s journaling hour here in my little Digiscrap Corner, but today, I got something special for you. Something a little out of the ordinary. But don’t worry (for those journalers among you), you’ll still get a ton of inspiration out of what I’m going to share with you. Have you ever heard of “Grace is Overrated”? It’s a website by some awesome gal who came up with an amazing idea of creating journaling pages. Something like this:  You can easily find her pages on her website (for download and print, in colored/embellished versions, or simple and plain). And what’s best of all, you can use her pages as inspiration for your websites. I for one, took inspiration from the prompts in the middle section of the page above, the section called “Moving ever forward.” And see what I did with it on one of my scrapbook pages … Anyhow, if you’ve never heard of Overrated Grace, then could be time for you to discover some gems!

Journaling Café: Resolutions

Well, oh well, it’s time to give some thought to those new year resolutions again. How are we doing on those, friends? Do we keep up with our goals? If you don’t have a clue where to start on your new year’s resolutions, or if you just need a little motivation to get started, here are today’s journaling prompts: And here’s my take on these prompts: Font used in the prompt is DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin, available at sweetshoppedesigns.com.
