Journaling Café: Learning 2

In some parts of the world we’re getting close toward the end of the school year, meaning the summer holidays are around the corner. Time for another little recap on what you’ve learned over the last few months, useful or not. And the beauty is, even if you don’t go to school any more you can work with these prompts and write out your thoughts. Here are today’s journaling prompts:   And of course I had to take one of the prompts to create a layout, and here’s what the end result looks like:

Journaling Café: The Things I Need

We all have things we use every day. Some things we desperately need (as in: can’t live without); other things we don’t really need, but they’re nice to have anyway. Take a look at today’s journaling prompts and reflect on what are the things you need on a daily basis?     Of course, I put on my thinking cap as well and thought a bit about the things I use/need:     Products used: You Should Know – Love You Wholly by Traci Reed & Meghan Layered Cards: Summer Vol. 2

Journaling Café: Learning

For some of us, the end of the school year is near, and that means, it’s a good time to think and reflect a little on what we’ve been learning. It’s also a great time to think about things you learned in the past as well as considering what you would like to learn in the future. Of course, I had to put together a page of my own, with some little reflection, and here’s the result:     Now, it’s your turn writing (and scrapping, if you like).   Products used: Font for prompt: DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin Be Tru 2 Ur School by Traci Reed DJB I Love Me Some Aly by Darcy Baldwin

Journaling Café: If you could …

How many times have you thought something along the lines of “Oh, if I could just …”? I know I have some times. The good news is, we don’t have to live stuck in our dreams, we can actually turn our dreams into reality … with determination and perseverance. Today, I thought I’d put out some journaling prompts that encourage you to think of the changes you need to make and the things you care about most in your life, the things you dream about … Now there are no more things to hold you back from pursuing your dreams. But before I get away going after mine, let me quickly show you the page I made for today’s journaling café:

Journaling Café: Favorites

Favorites. We all have them, in basically every area of life. But when do we actually take the time to journal about the little, mundane favorites that make our lives so pleasant? So, today you get a set of prompts to think and journal about, and they all regard your favorite things …   And of course, I was eager to work on a page documenting some of my favorites:   Supplies used: I So Heart You by Jady Day Studio & Mari Koegelenberg – Fonts: DJB Holly Typed & DJB I Feel Happy by Darcy Baldwin – Photo Pockets by Misty Hilltops Designs

Journaling Café: Spring

In my part of the world, spring is in full swing with lots of warm sunny blue sky days (which really is rare around here), spring flowers and budding trees. Perfect timing, therefore, to talk a little about spring in our journaling café and what this season triggers in your mind.     And as I’ve been out and about taking photos during spring, I’ve got lots to scrap about, and so here’s my page, using one of today’s journaling prompts:   The font used in the journaling prompt is DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin.

Journaling Café: Celebrate Easter

We just celebrated Easter, and in fact, in some places of the world (like my home country), today is still a full fledged Easter holiday. This makes it the perfect time to spend some thoughts on Easter, your Easter traditions, and what this holiday means to you. So, here are today’s journaling prompts:   And of course, as always, I got started with a little page of my own:

Journaling Café: Morning Rituals

Mornings. They are as much part of our lives as the rest of the day, and to some, they are the most important aspect of their day, since some hold to the belief that if you get up well, then your day will go well. Today’s journaling prompts, therefore, focus on our morning rituals. What does your morning look like? What’s most important to you when it comes to your mornings? Here are today’s prompts: And here’s the page I created to journal about my morning preferences:

Journaling Café: Eating Habits

Food. It’s such an important part of our lives. And yet, we give so little attention to it when it comes to our journaling. Today, however, we’ll reserve a little spot just for that – our eating habits: And of course, I had to scrap a page about something food related myself … one of my favorite meals this last month.
