Traveler’s Notebook Layout: Relax

Two I kept as simple rectangles, one I cut into a flag shape, the other one I used one of my die cuts to turn it into a tag. For my embellishments, I used stamps with their coordinating die cuts, and the big flower comes in several layers. Last, for the title I used card stock that I watercolored and then one of my alpha die cut sets. DeutschIch kann euch meine nächste Seite vorstellen. For this one I cut four paper strips of two contrasting colors to go at the top and the bottom of the page. I also stamped and die cut a bunch of flowers and leaves. For the flowers I used plain white card stock. For the leaves, I used a green card stock, and paper that I’d watercolored beforehand. Finally, for the title I used two sets of die cuts, and cut the word “Park” from one of the patterned paper, while the other words I cut from card stock that I’d watercolored with a similar shade of gray as in the papers. I just cut rectangles of various sizes from my patterned papers, then arranged them around the photo. I added the die cut heart bunting as well as the stamped flower, which is stamped with several layers. For the title I die cut small rectangles to stamp the individual letters of the word “live.” Then from my stamp set stash I stamped the word “happy” on pink cardstock and fussy cut that out. I changed the paper collection, which is an unnamed design pad from Tedi (a store in Germany). For this layout, I cut a couple of rectangles. I also stamped the pretty flowers (two layers – filling and outline), and used the coordinating die cut. Then I arranged everything in two clusters. The title I partially stamped, and used a die cut alpha set for the big word. DeutschFür mein Sommertag Album habe ich die Gangart geändert und die Papierkollektion geändert. Das Papier für diese Seite kommt von einem unbenannten Designblock von Tedi. Für dieses Layout habe ich ein paar Rechtecke ausgeschnitten. Ich habe auch diese hübschen Blumen gestempelt (zwei Lagen – die Füllung und der Umriss), und die dazugehörige Stanzen verwendet, um alles auszustanzen. Dann habe ich alles in zwei Ecken angeordnet. For the first page, I really wanted to use the beautiful floral paper in a way that it would get attention. So I put a strip down the right side. Then I stamped the flower, die cut it together with the leaves, colored it, and added that with the other pieces. I also stamped a doily on the background. The hearts I die cut, and I used two strips of washi tape. DeutschHier sind zwei weitere Seiten, die ich für das Album “Ein Sommertag” erstellt habe, und dabei das Designerpapier “Florals” von Craft Sensations verwendet habe. Behind it all I placed a die cut circle and another paper strip, and the wintery word strips that I’ve been using. These word strips will soon become available as freebie. The large dotted circle, I simply cut in half and used both halves on the page. One of the papers from the paper pack “Winter Forest” came with lots of little winter scenes. I made sure when I cut those, to have those scenes be the focal points of the smaller circles. Also, while I didn’t use circles on the right side of the page where I put the larger square photo, I repeated the circle them, by adding a round frame, to tie the two sides together. For the title I watercolored a strip of card stock and used two of my die cut sets to cut the words. Star Dale Winter Village | Sternthal – ein Winterdorf

EnglishWe finished our big family project, and it’s become something that makes our whole family happy. We made sure to include a little village pond, and this couldn’t be a true winter/Christmas village without all the snow. Did you notice the little Christmas market, and the Christmas tree with the twinkle lights? Here’s a video of the town: DeutschWir haben unser großes Familienprojekt zu Ende gebracht, und es macht die ganze Familie glücklich. Dem Dorf haben wir noch einen Dorfteich gegeben.
