Hybrid Hub: Welcome Home Card

The good news when it comes to cards is that there’s always a reason to send others a little greeting. Like today’s card, which I created for my friends who’d returned home after a summer away.                             Supplies used: A Place to Call Home by Christy Lyle & Amanda Heimann (retired), ribbon, card stock

Hybrid Hub: Christmas Cards – Part 5

I hope you all had a wonderful and restful couple of Christmas days. I sure did enjoy my time with my friends this year. And since the Christmas season is drawing to an end, today I’m going to share my last installment of Christmas cards for this year. Hybrid Hub: Christmas Cards, Part 4

Only a few more days till Christmas, which means it’s really time to wrap up all the preparations. Probably, at this point it’s too late to send out Christmas cards, but since we’re still in the middle of the season, I’m still going to show you a couple more of the Christmas cards I made this year …   Peaceful Holidays Supplies used: Christmas Countdown by Traci Reed & Meghan Mullens, card stock, ribbon   Christmas Season Supplies used: Winter Wonderland by Zoe Pearn, card stock, ribbon   Merry Christmas   Supplies used: Christmas Countdown by Kristin Cronin-Barrow & Zoe Pearn

Hybrid Hub: Christmas Cards 2012, Part 2

I just mailed my batch of Christmas cards (and hope they’ll make it to Europe in time for the holidays) – yay! (Big sigh of release …) And while I’m waiting for them to arrive, I’m happy to share some more with you here this week. (And in case you’re wondering why my Christmas cards are so generic and don’t have any family photos etc. that’s because in that part of Europe where I’m from we don’t have the habit of mailing photo Christmas cards.) Supplies used: Deck the Halls Classic by Kristin Cronin-Barrow, white card stock, ribbon. Supplies used: This Life: December by Penny Springman, card stock Supplies used: Noel by Shawna Clingerman & Penny Springman, ribbon, card stock And since in much of Europe, today’s St. Nicholas Day, I wish everyone who cares about such things a Happy St. Nicholas Day!

Hybrid Hub: Christmas Cards 2012, Part 1

I’ve been busy lately. Busy working on my Christmas cards this year. And I’m excited to share some of them with you over the next couple of weeks. So, here’s my first sample: Supplies used: White Christmas by Traci Reed & Meghan Mullens; card stock, ribbon     And since there’s so much to choose from, I’ll share another card with you: Supplies used: 12 Months December by Penny Springmann, card stock     And my last card for today: Supplies used: North Pole by Mari Koegelenberg, card stock, craft punches     If you haven’t gotten your hands dirty on creating cards, there’s tons of inspiration out on the www, and lots of simple ones, too. Like the ones I’ve been showing you today: they only require a little cutting of very simple shapes, pasting together, and they’re ready to warm someone’s heart this Christmas!

Hybrid Hub: Autumn Card #3

Thursday, lately, is always a happy occasion, because I get to share my latest card creations with you. And since autumn has everything in its grip where I live, it’s the perfect time to show you another one of my fall cards. This little beauty is a very simple one – just plain blue paper combined with a striped one, a little accent piece added, plus a ribbon, and it’s another token of love that will make someone happy. Supplies used: Autumn Essence by Julie Billingsley, white card stock, ribbon, white tack

Freebie Friday: Autumn Card #1

I’m excited that after several months of not sharing any freebie with you, I finally get to post my latest template. It’s a simple one, and it’s a template for a card based on one of my  hybrid projects. It actually took me forever to upload because my file host acted up on me, but here it finally is! Enjoy, and as always: Happy Friday, scrappers! Note: Please do not re-distribute this template in any way (you may share the link to this post), and when you use this template, please make sure to credit it to Misty Hilltops Designs.
