Valentine’s is still fresh in our minds, and I’m sure for many there are lots of nice memories to keep. So, I thought I’d bring you some Valentine’s inspiration from the galleries. I went on a search and found a couple of layouts that caught my eye.
To start off with, I found this page by Diella, using “Just Love Me” – a collab from Sugarhill Co.
I love the composition here and the mixed use of brushes/stamps and “real” elements such as flowers, etc. Of course, her title is too funny, too (you’ll get the joke when you look at the full size picture in the gallery)!
Next, I found “Valentines” by oldvwblues, using “Be My Valentine” by Carole Créations.
I’m sure, you can guess what caught my eye with this page … Right! It’s the photo treatment. How fun to turn the photo into a drawing.
“Love You XOX” by MerylBartho is another page I fell in love with. She used a whole lot of different products, including “Time for Love.”
On this page I love how everything was put together, the title work – a mixture of typography & alpha, and I find the photograph especially stunning!
Another layout that caught my attention is “Nocturne” by Veternica. She used Sarah Designs’ “Nocturne” kit for her page:
I guess, I like the fresh colors about this page, the combination of drawn elements, as well as the use of “normal” flowers, ribbons, etc. Using the same kit, I found another page, that I’d like to showcase here:
“Love” by Anaida.
Here, I like the composition – the two photos and the envelope/letter being placed so prominently on the page!
Of course, there are plenty of other great kits out there to scrap our Valentine’s memories. So, if you are still looking for some new product to use for your Valentine’s Day events, just check out the stores, and I’m sure you’ll quickly find something that meets your needs. A lot of stores have a category “Seasons & Events” or something like “Themed Products” where you can easily find what you are looking for without having to search the whole store. I hope, you did have a nice Valentine’s Day, and happy scrapping all those memories!
Thank you very much for publishing my LO on your blog. Hugs! Jana
