Got more inspiration again this week. I found this gorgeous fun page on the www: There are so many things I love about this page: the color scheme, all the scattered little elements, the overall composition, the pieces of cut papers. So I tried to incorporate these things somewhat on my own page, and here’s the result:

I have a happy little card I’d like to share with you this week. I cut two pieces of patterned paper, placed them on the card base and added a ribbon and the sentiment (which I’d printed and cut with my silhouette beforehand). Detail:
It’s time for another round of journaling prompts, and today I’d like you to think about (and finish) the following sentences: I’m sure something will come to your mind when you read these things, so why not take a moment to jot them down? Of course, I love to use my scrapbook pages for journaling, so here’s my page, based on one of the prompts:
I found a new layout to inspire me: Loved, by debduty.com. What inspired me about this page were the various paper layers, the strip of paper at the top of the page, and the placement of the title, so that’s what I tried to incorporate on my page as well.
Moving on swiftly. I’m glad to see that people have seen this new freebie already, because the downloads are going up. So (still trying to catch up), I’m going to go ahead and post the next part of this freebie – the first half of the papers. Remember to come back to get the next part, too. For this week’s paper to digi post I found this page here by Kawi: What I love about this page is the various layers of papers & elements, and how everything was kept at the top edge of the page. I also loved the journaling spot, and it’s these things that I tried to imitate on my own page. Here’s how that turned out:
