Freebie Freitag: And I Promise 12×12 digitales Papier Here’s the promised paper pack that my sister and I worked on together this past winter to create a wedding planner for her friend. We printed the paper on A4 cardstock and then used a Silhouette Cameo to cut various elements to assemble planner. Some of the papers, my sister designed with a lot of love and time. It’s just a paper pack, but maybe you’ll be able to find some use for it anyway. Bastelecke: Hochzeitsplaner Look what my sister and I worked on this last winter holiday! We did a real collaboration. Her friend was getting married and she wanted to make a wedding planner for her. So, we put our heads together for a couple of days to create the papers and then put everything together in a nice little binder. And if you come back, I’ll hook you up with the papers, which my sister is sharing on her blog in my next freebie installment. Cheryl is one of my team colleagues on one of the CTs I’m working on, and she does youtube videos that take you through her process of scrapping. It’s totally different than I tackle my scrapbook pages, but you might find it entertaining anyway. Projekt Leben 2015 – Woche 29 Lots of things happened in week 29. I changed my lodging four times, moving from Stuttgart to the Black Forest, from the Black Forest to a town near Berne in Switzerland, moved on to Turtmann Valley in Valais, Switzerland where we stayed over night in a mountain cabin and then back to the Black Forest. But eventful weeks are often great weeks. Viele Dinge sind in Woche 29 vorgefallen. Ich habe meine Unterkunft viermal gewechselt – aus dem Stuttgarter Raum in den Schwarzwald, vom Schwarzwald in die Nähe von Bern in der Schweiz, von Bern ins Turtmanntal, wo wir auf der Turtmannhütte übernachteten und dann zurück in den Schwarzwald. Kreisflippkarte Cameo Schneidedatei Yay! It’s Friday and that means it’s freebie time again. Finally! I know I’ve neglected you all for quite a while, but I intend to get things back on track. Hopefully before long I’ll have a new digital scrapbooking kit ready for you, but for now I’m happy to share a silhouette cutting file. With this one you can make a circle flip card. It’s easy peasy. All you do is cut the card base from cardboard and then cover each part of the card with some patterned paper. If you want all sides of the card base to be covered, you need to cut the paper parts twice each. Hurraaa! Es ist Freitag und das heißt, es ist mal wieder Freebiezeit. Endlich! Hybrid Hub: Greeting Card “For the Soccer Fan”

Bastelecke: Grußkarte “Für den Fussballfreund” I’d like to show you a card that I made for my brother-in-law’s birthday. I’m sure you can tell that he’s a soccer fan, so I thought to simply add some money for the next ticket he’ll have to pay for a soccer game. To make the card, I used the flip-card design, cut it out with my Silhouette and added some papers. Was easy enough. Ich möchte euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich zum Geburtstag meines Schwagers gebastelt habe. Ihr könnt sicher schon raten, dass er ein Fussballfan ist und so dachte ich, wenn ich etwas Geld dazugebe, kann er es vielleicht für ein Ticket für ein Fußballspiel verwenden. Um die Karte zu gestalten, habe ich das Flip-Karten Design verwendet, das ich einfach mit meiner Cameo ausgeschnitten habe und dann mit ein paar Papieren verschönert habe. War einfach genug.

Inspiration am Mittwoch: Kostenlose Fotobearbeitungssoftware – Photoscape The other day my sister (who is a wedding photographer and runs a pretty awesome blog) introduced me to a free software that I thought I should give a try because I always have lots of photos to share on my blog and processing them for web publication often is a headache for me (I like to reduce the quality of my images so much that it’s not worth for anyone to steal, though I admit that I dislike showing poor quality pics here). Anyhow, I thought I’d give my sister’s recommendations a try and am pretty satisfied with the results. What I like about Photoscape especially are the batch features and the collage options this software offers. Creating photo collages with the templates Photoscape provides is so easy. And the best thing, this software is free and it’s pretty intuitive. So, if you’re a photographer who wants to make life easier you should try out this software. After a hiatus from my little digiscrap corner (with a little excitement in between – this website got hacked and infected with a virus), I’m gonna try and get back to business again with you. Hybrid Hub: Milk Cartons in a Carrier

Bastelecke: Milchkartons im Träger Happy new year to all of you. Before moving on to new topics and projects, I’d like to share my last Christmas project of the season. A couple of weeks ago, I made this little carrier with milk cartons. I made the cut file in my Silhouette Studio, printed some of the papers from my Holly & Pine kit, then had my Silhouette Cameo cut out the entire shabeng. Here’s how that turned out: Frohes neues Jahr euch allen. Bevor ich mich aber neuen Themen und Projekten zuwenden möchte, würde ich gerne noch mein letztes Weihnachtsprojekt dieser Saison mit euch teilen. Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich nämlich diesen kleinen Träger mit Milchkartons gebastelt. Die Schneideschablone habe ich mir dafür in der Silhouette Studio Software zusammengeschustert.
