Hybrid Hub: Poppy Field

I’m happy to present you my next hybrid page spread. This one was created by printing and assembling papers and elements from an older kit by Melissa Bennett called “Love Actually.” The products from Melissa’s kits are perfect for printing and look great on any hybrid product. Of course, I threw in a layered card made with one of Cindy Schneider’s templates, and I used the journaling spots Melissa included to throw in my own little word art element.

Inspire Me: You, Me & Crazy

Are you one of those people who keeps scouring the www, always in search for inspiration and new ideas to implement on your scrapbook pages? Well, I have a site that might inspire one of your future pages: You, Me & Crazy. Admitted, this site is maintained by a traditional paper scrapper, but still, Corrie’s layouts are intriguing and full of new, unique ideas. If you haven’t checked out the site, I recommend that you hop on over. Who knows … you might find a treasure, or two …

Journaling Café: Favorites

Favorites. We all have them, in basically every area of life. But when do we actually take the time to journal about the little, mundane favorites that make our lives so pleasant? So, today you get a set of prompts to think and journal about, and they all regard your favorite things …   And of course, I was eager to work on a page documenting some of my favorites:   Supplies used: I So Heart You by Jady Day Studio & Mari Koegelenberg – Fonts: DJB Holly Typed & DJB I Feel Happy by Darcy Baldwin – Photo Pockets by Misty Hilltops Designs

P2D: Busy Me

I have more to share with you in my paper-2-digi spot this week. Take a look at this traditionally scrapped page:   I totally loved the list Corrie created, placed next to the portrait photo, and the title cut from the background paper. So, I set out to implement these aspects on a page of my own, also trying to imitate the somewhat artsy feel of the page (with all the paint splats and what not). And here’s where that inspiration got me on a page of my own …   Of course, I couldn’t do without adding a few extra clusters of ellies, because I love ellie clusters!     Supplies used here are: Bohemian Beauty by Sweetshoppe Designs – Mark the Spot Alpha by Traci Reed Designs – StampaBets Vol. 3 by Zoe Pearn – Doodley Doo Alpha by Christy Lyle (retired)

Hybrid Hub: Family Moments

A while ago, I’ve started working on a new hybrid photo book. And today, it’s about time to share my first double page with you:   I used Traci Reed’s & Melissa Bennett’s digital kit “Love Makes the World Go Round” for pretty much everything on this double page spread. First, I created a  digital version of the pages, transferred everything onto blank sheets of paper the size my printer can handle, printed everything, cut, and assembled.

Journaling Café: Spring

In my part of the world, spring is in full swing with lots of warm sunny blue sky days (which really is rare around here), spring flowers and budding trees. Perfect timing, therefore, to talk a little about spring in our journaling café and what this season triggers in your mind.     And as I’ve been out and about taking photos during spring, I’ve got lots to scrap about, and so here’s my page, using one of today’s journaling prompts:   The font used in the journaling prompt is DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin.
