P2D: Week 43

It’s Saturday, which means it’s time to share another paper to divi project. For this week’s post, I found this layout: Well, actually, in all reality, this is a card someone made (yep, I noticed before I started). But I so loved the overall composition that I thought it would make a lovely scrapbooking layout as well. What I particularly liked was the lace strip across the page, the banner shapes used to add extra interest, the framed sentiment, that lovely big cluster. And it’s those things which I tried to incorporate on a page of my own, for which I used Traci Reed’s brandnew kit “True Stories” coming to the store this weekend …

Freebie Friday: Harvest of Happiness – Part 5

Here comes the last part of this freebie kit “Harvest of Happiness,” so now you actually get to play with it, and I’d love to see what you do with this kit.   Now, please consider that my Terms of Use only permit to use any contents of this kit for your personal scrapping needs (Personal Use), which means that if you’d like to share this with others, you may only do so by sending them to this website (no direct linking, or sharing of any parts). And now it’s time to announce that I have a little surprise coming for those (silhouette) crafters among you next week. (Have had this freebie ready for you for a month now, and it’s been patiently awaiting its time to get shared!) I’ll not say any more, but don’t miss out on that freebie. And I’m planning on working on a Christmas kit this weekend, which I’ll probably start sharing with you here two weeks from now, so stay tuned and don’t forget to come back for more …

Hybrid Hub: Card #71

I’ve already begun making my annual Christmas cards (last year, though I sent them in November, they only arrived in February, so I figure I’m late already this year). At any rate, four cards are finished, and I’m going to show present them here in a little while. But first, I’d like to share another generic card with you: For this one, I cut three square pieces, underlaid them with a mat, and I printed the sentiment on the card base. I added a ribbon, adhered everything to the base, and finished was yet another pretty little something. Detail:

Enable Me: Free Shabby Shoppe Cover Templates

Yippppiiiieeee! *Jump around; dance; twirl; clap hands; celebrate!* I’m actually caught up with things in my little digiscrap corner (at least on the outward side of things, still need to work on a bit of stuff behind the scenes). But can you believe it? For the first time in like, months!, I’m actually posting when I’m supposed to post. So, in celebration of this special event, I’m sharing something with you that might make at least some of you happy, I hope. I found this site the other day, where you can download a couple of templates for free. They’re fun, and if you like free stuff, you should hop on over and check out what you can get …

Journaling Café: Autumn

Autumn is in full swing, at least where I am, and also where I come from. And since my last autumn journaling prompt has been a while back (I looked it up to make sure, lol), I thought, why not giving you more to think and write about this very special season!     And since autumn always makes me happy, I promptly scrapped yet another autumn page to go with one of the prompts:     Font used in journal prompts above is DJB Squirrels in My Pants by Darcy Baldwin, available at sweetshoppedesigns.com.

P2D: Autumn

I was successful again. Successful in finding another gorgeous paper page that I scraplifted and turned into my own digital version. Take a look at this layout:     I totally love the layers of papers, that little cluster in the top right corner, the placement of the photo, the large piece of word art and the cute buntings. So I tried to incorporate these things on my own page. Here’s how that turned out:

Freebie Friday: Harvest of Happiness – Part 4

I’d like to share part 4 of my latest freebie kit with you, and that means, today, you’ll get the first part of the ellies. Hope you’ll enjoy this, and don’t forget to come back next Friday to pick up the last part of this collection. Now, I’m off to some other stuff. Keep in mind that my terms of use apply (personal use only). Happy scrapping.
