Ooooh, I’m so excited because the Holiday Season is just around the corner, and yes, I’ve been using most of my spare time to be busy crafting and creating, and getting ready for what’s to come soon! Bastelecke: Rot-Schwarz-Weißes Minialbum I’ve had this lined up for a long time, and today, I’m finally ready to show you one of the mini albums I created this summer. I created this one using a paper collection I found in one of the craft stores, and combined it with red solid card stock. I added a couple of little embellishments, and it was ready to go. Es stand schon lange an, dass ich euch dieses Minialbum zeigen wollte, das ich im Sommer gebastelt habe, und heute ist es endlich soweit. Für dieses Projekt habe ich eine Papierkollektion benutzt, die ich in einem Bastelgeschäft gefunden habe, und habe sie einfach mit rotem Tonkarton kombiniert. Ich habe ein paar Blümchen und Extras zur Verzierung hinzugefügt, und schon war es präsentierfähig.

P&D (Papier & Digital): A Snowy Christmas? I’m happy to report that I got inspired again, by a paper layout that has so many beautiful little details that it was a real joy lifting it. Take a look at I Am Grateful For You: Freudigen Herzens darf ich berichten, dass ich mal wieder inspiriert wurde. Hybrid Hub: Autumn Luminary

Bastelecke: Herbstlaternen I’ve been crafting again, and since fall is the season of the year where things turn rather dark (days get shorter, skies grayer), I wanted to craft something that would light up my days a bit. So, I went and searched the Silhouette Online store to see what they had for luminaries or lanterns, couldn’t find anything that really pleased me, and decided to create my own. I got three designs at the store (two leafy backgrounds, and one piece of bunting), edited all pieces in the Silhouette Studio to turn them into four square pieces, which I connected, cut out, glued together and then be used with candles (I use real candles, but have them in little candle glasses for extra protection). Ich bin mal wieder kreativ geworden, und weil der Herbst die Jahreszeit ist, in der es eher düster aussieht (die Tage werden kürzer, der Himmel grauer), wollte ich etwas basteln, dass mir die Tage ein wenig heller machen kann. Fontastischer Mittwoch: Kostenlose Schriftartpaarungen I’ve always been a great lover of fonts! Bits of word art, therefore, always get me hooked quite easily. The problem is that not always do word art elements that come with a kit really meet my scrapping needs of particular pages. Here’s where it comes in handy when I can create a bit of word art on my own. And for that it’s great when you have a couple of fonts to play with on your computer. On the www there are tons of websites giving you ideas for great fonts and which fonts look well in combination with which other fonts.
