Papier & Digital: Weihnachtsschuh I got inspired again by one beautiful paper layout! Take a look at this page: Ich bin mal wieder von einem schönen Papierlayout inspiriert worden! Seht euch mal diese Seite an: What I loved about this page are the soft colors, the overall composition, the paint in the background, the two flag elements at the bottom of the cluster, and how everything is so beautifully arranged around the photo. So, these are the things that made the basis for my lift: Was mir an dieser Seite besonders gefiel waren die zarten Farben, die gesamte Komposition, der gemalte Hintergrund, die beiden Fähnchen unterhalb des Fotos, and wie alles so hübsch um das Foto herum drapiert wurde. Had the color palette and the solid papers done for quite a while now, but then got busy with life. Bastelecke: Weihnachtskarten 2013 – Teil 2 I still have a couple of Christmas cards sitting around that I didn’t get to share with you during December. Here’s the second batch of them using digital scrapbooking products and various Silhouette Studio shapes (printing and cutting): Ich habe immer noch ein paar Weihnachtskarten, die ich noch nicht geschafft habe, euch zu zeigen. December Daily 2013 – Week 4

Dokumentier deinen Dezember 2013 – Woche 4 With all the Christmas celebrations and what not, I decided to take a break this last week, but I hope you all had wonderful holidays. I for one had a good time, and I also managed to finish my December Daily album, so I’m excited to share with you my completed album: Bei all den Weihnachtsfeiereien usw. habe ich beschlossen, mir die letzte Woche frei zu nehmen, aber ich hoffe, ihr alle hattet ein paar tolle Weihnachtstage. Ich selbst hatte ein paar angenehme Tage und ich habs auch geschafft, mein Dezember Album fertigzustellen. December Daily 2013 – Week 3

Dokumentiere deinen Dezember – 3. Woche Life’s been getting a bit crazy lately, so naturally, I got a little behind on my December Daily pages. But here they finally are! Das Leben ist im Augenblick ziemlich turbulent, so dass ich bei meinem Dezember Album ein bisschen hinterher hinke. Aber sind sind endlich die Seiten von Woche 3! For this album, I mainly used Christmas kits from various designers over at the Sweetshoppe, various shapes from both, the Silhouette store and various websites. I also used simple A4 page protector sheets and with the help of my sewing machine turned those into pockets. Worked brilliantly, and I like how I could design a great variety of layouts for those pockets. Für dieses Album habe ich hauptsächlich Weihnachtskits von verschiedenen Designern des Sweetshoppes verwendet, und zusätzlich Motive vom Silhouette Online Store und anderen Webseiten. Ausserdem habe ich A4 Klarsichthüllen benutzt, die ich mit Hilfe meiner Nähmaschine in Fototaschen umfunktioniert habe. Hat wie eine eins geklappt, und mir gefällt, dass ich dadurch sehr vielseitig arbeiten konnte.

Papier & Digital: Dezember Augenblick The beauty of Christmas is that there are tons of amazing, beautiful, and eye-catching layouts out there, just waiting to be discovered and serve as inspiration. Freebie Freitag: Silhouette Christbaumkugeln With Christmas being right around the corner and life being quite busy as it is, I was very close to not doing a freebie post this week. But then I’m thinking, I still have these Christmas projects lined-up, and it would be such a waste not to share them with you, so here I go again – I just can’t help myself. Hybrid Hub: Christmas Luminaries

I’m still sharing some of my recent Silhouette projects. As another part of my Christmas decorations I created Christmas luminaries. For these, I simply used different Christmas card shapes that I found in the Silhouette online store (baubles), or used various shapes to create my own (stockings, merry & bright word art), combined everything in one shape, cut, assembled things, lined the insides with some sort of vellum paper I can get here, and now I can illuminate them with tea lights (protected by small glass cups, or else it’s too dangerous). Lighted, they’re quite a pretty sight! Ich bin immer noch nicht fertig, euch meine Silhouette Projekte zu zeigen. Als ein weiterer Teil meiner Weihnachtsdekoration habe ich kürzlich ein paar Weihnachtslaternchen gebastelt. Dafür habe ich einfach ein paar verschiedene Weihnachtskarten Motive benutzt, die ich im Silhouette Online Laden gefunden habe (Christbaumkugeln), oder habe verschiedene Motive selbst zusammengestellt (Strümpfe, Merry & Bright Titel). Ich habe diese Motive zu einem zusammengefügt, alles ausgeschnitten, zusammengeklebt und dann mit transparentem Papier hinterlegt, das hier erhältlich ist. Nun kann …
