Well, today’s sample may not have an actual mistake, but I always love the concern for the people’s well-being you can find on signs around here. This sign was posted in Hong Kong for the users of the escalators. Got you another sample from Hong Kong. I loved this one as soon as I saw it on a window of a store in downtown Hong Kong. I could hardly believe it, but with all its “britishness” I did find some Chinglish when I was in Hong Kong, lately. Here’s my first sample, that I found on the sign of a store. I’ve got another perfect Chinglish example today. Found this one on the subway in Shenzhen on my way from the border of Hong Kong to the airport. Need I say more? I love the new signs our school has put up recently all over campus! What would life be without the little tokens of amusement we find all around us? This one reads: “School likes our home. Let’s afforest together!” I’m just glad, no one really cares about this suggestion, or we quickly wouldn’t find our way home with all the trees popping up everywhere!   Sign reads: “Keep off the water, caution danger.” If you consider getting wet as some kind of danger, then it surely is advisable that you keep your hands “off” the water. Or am I overlooking something that can be found somewhere in the less-than-knee-deep water which might cause harm …? Yet another sign that has newly been put up on campus. It says: “Don’t break the flowers!” Let me draw your attention to the overwhelming amount of flowers surrounding this sign ;-). Yes, you really don’t want to break any flowers, should you be lucky enough to find some!
