Hey peeps, last week I began sharing how you can use the same photo more than once in a layout. But as there are even more ways, we’ll move right on. Here are five more ways that I found:
Hallo Freunde. Letzte Woche habe ich damit angefangen, darüber zu reden, wie man dasselbe Foto mehr als einmal auf einem Layout verwenden kann. Aber da es noch einige mehr Möglichkeiten gibt, machen wir gleich mal weiter. Hier sind noch 5 weitere Wege:
Tip 6 | Use Photo as Background and as Actual Photo
Tipp 6 | Nimm das gleiche Bild für den Hintergrund und als dein Vorzeige-Foto
One way that I love to use photos (and see layouts in the galleries) is when a photo is used as the background of a page. By applying various levels of opacity and merging it with the background paper, you can create a page that has a very artistic feel to it, and yet it allows you to use the same photo more than once on your page in an interesting, eye-catching way.
Eine Art der Verwendung von Fotos, die ich besonders toll finde (und sie oft auch auf Layouts in den Galerien bewundere), ist, wenn ein Foto für den Hintergrund der Seite verwendet wird. Indem du die Transparenz anpasst und das Foto mit dem Hintergrundpapier verschmelzen lässt, kannst du leicht eine Seite erschaffen, die sehr künstlerisch wirkt, mit der du aber auch dein Foto ganz besonders hervorheben kannst.
Tip 7 | Mirror a Photo

Have you thought of mirroring your photos? Simply flip one (or two or however many photos you want mirrored horizontally) and this will create a fun interesting effect on your page. In the case of my example below, I combined Tip 7 with Tip 6: I used the same photo as the background, but because it better suited my composition, I also mirrored the background photo. Since there’s one “correct” version of the photo in the layout, it’s not a big deal to flip things around.
Hast du schon mal dran gedacht, deine Fotos zu spiegeln? Kehr einfach ein Bild (oder 2, oder wie viele auch immer) um und das hat bestimmt einen interessanten Effekt auf deine Seite. Im Fall meines Beispiels unten habe ich Tipp 7 mit Tipp 6 kombiniert: Ich habe dasselbe Foto für den Hintergrund verwendet. Aber weil es für die Komposition besser war, habe ich das Hintergrundbild spiegelverkehrt eingebaut. Da es immer noch eine “korrekte” Version des Fotos auf dem Layout gibt, war es für mich nicht sehr tragisch, das Foto seitenverkehrt zu verwenden.
Tip 8 | Use a Cut-Up and a Whole Version of the Same Photo

Yet another way of using the same photo more than once on a layout is by cutting up the photo into several parts. It adds a fun different look to your layout and you can still show off your photo by using the full version as well.
Eine weitere Möglichkeit, dasselbe Foto mehr als einmal zu verwenden ist, indem du eine Version des Bildes in mehrere Teile aufteilst. Es gibt dem ganzen ein besonderes Aussehen und du kannst immer noch dein Bild zur Schau stellen, indem du die vollständige Version hinzufügst.
Tip 9 | Disguise Your Repeated Photo by Adding More Photos with Different Scenes

In the case of my layout below, I ended up using two different photos. For the second, smaller photo, I used a cropped version and a full version and used them to complement my main photo. No one would ever guess that the two smaller photos are actually one and the same.
Im Fall meines Layouts unten habe ich insgesamt zwei verschiedene Fotos verwendet. Für das zweite, kleinere Foto habe ich eine aufs Detail zugeschnittene und eine volle Version verwendet und sie genommen, um das große Hauptbild zu ergänzen. Niemand würde erraten, dass die beiden kleineren Bilder eigentlich von ein und demselben Foto stammen.
Tip 10 | Simply Repeat a Photo

The last one seems kind of obvious, but I feel like I still should share it with you, just because this tutorial wouldn’t be complete without mentioning it. My final tip for using more than one photo on a layout is for you to simply do it. Don’t overthink it, just use your photo several times (you don’t have to do anything to it). Using the same photo more than once can place special emphasis on the scene/topic/person you want to highlight with your photo.
Der letzte Tipp mag vielleicht offensichtlich sein, aber ich halte es dennoch für nötig, ohne hier weiterzugeben, denn sonst wäre dieses Tutorial nicht vollständig. Mein letzter Tipp ist, dass ihr einfach dasselbe Foto mehrmals verwenden könnt, ohne groß über das wie und was nachzudenken. Tut es einfach. Das selbe Foto mehrmals zu verwenden hilft, wenn ihr eine Szene/ein Thema/die Personen auf dem Bild besonders ins Rampenlicht rücken möchtet.
