This week the galleries are bursting with beautiful gems, so I picked another seven for my treasure chest today.
You are one Smartypants by kewl_jive
I just love how she worked so well with the papers and embellishments. The brushes/rubons add depth to the composition, the colors are just beautiful, and of course I don’t need to mention how cute the photo is!
Me and my head by caits
I’m a sucker for everything doodled, so of course this page jumped right at me when I saw the cutsie flowers, hearts and other embellies. The composition is lovely, making great use of the white space, and I think this is a great example of a photoless layout.
Daysleeper by Liahra
What a simple, but beautiful page! I love the rustic feel it has with the wooden background, and all the little details she added to this layout. And of course, how can you not fall in love with that cute little sleeper in the photo? I love how she cropped it, too!
Our garden princess by Soco
Talking about simple already, this page immediately caught my eye, and I knew for sure it was going to make it into today’s post. I love the pops of green on the white, the fine, delicate lines, the paper/photo frames lifting off the page, and that brush work to the side. Total perfection, and I don’t even have to point out that that little princess on the photo is just the cutest!
Photo Paris by kawouette
Moving on to this gem, and I love the artistic feel of it. The paint splatters and scattered word bits make the rest of the composition pop, and I love how she tucked the journaling behind everything. I also love how she added that blank journaling card, and scattered the photos across her composition, and I think she did a great job on the cropping of her photos.
Paint the Autumn by pacina
Did I just talk about artistic? Well, here’s the maestro of the art. What a beautiful way to capture this season, and I love how the photo blends in so perfectly with the rest of this page. This page has a beautiful mix of colors, elements, and word-art.
Precious by Lalie Designs
Last, but not least, I found this gem. Even though this page could have turned out rather gloomy, the pops of color bring it right back to life! I love the composition here, the use of brushes, word-art and elements, and of course the photo is indeed oh so precious!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s gems as much as I have, and my best wishes for the rest of this weekend.
Thank you very much for choosing my page! I feel honored!
