Today, for St. Nicholas Day I’ve gotten lots of treat. Where usually I’m the only one who cares about these old traditions, it’s nice to once again share it with those who care equally. And even Mother is a good sport, sorting out my Nicholas boot – even though I’m already all grown up!

Heute hats zum Nikolaustag eine reiche Ausbeute gegeben. Wo ich sonst die einzige bin, der der Nikolaustag etwas bedeutet, genieße ich wieder einmal eine kleine Tradition. Und Mutter macht dabei voll mit, obwohl ich ja eigentlich schon ganz groß und stark bin.
