Ready for the Cold

Der Winter kann kommen So, for the last two weeks they’ve been predicting snow for Tuesday. I still don’t think that’s actually going to happen. But the weather forecast has also been saying that it’s about to get cold today. So, I’ve made sure the get all my winter things ready for the season. Now winter may come. Also, seit zwei Wochen haben sie für Dienstag Schnee vorausgesagt. Ich glaube zwar nicht, dass es so kommt. Aber der Wetterbericht sagt außerdem, dass es ab heute kalt werden soll. Also habe ich meine Wintersachen auf Vordermann gebracht. Jetzt bin ich bereit für die Winterzeit!

Project Life 2016 – Week 44

Projekt Leben 2016 – Woche 44 Well, I haven’t done much of Project Life this year at all. Good for me that I’m not stuck on saying that if I didn’t start in the beginning of the year, I shouldn’t do it at all. I can do whatever I want. And for me that meant starting my 2016 PL with week 44! Go, Sula! Better late than never. I actually like working on pocket style layouts. It’s so much fun to fill my pockets with the memories of my life. So, this week I worked on about 20 photo pockets (which I’ll be sharing with you in the future), so I could get started on this year’s PL. I used my Like Sunshine freebie collection, which you can find HERE. There’s so much in this collection, that filling up a 2-page spread goes really fast. Herbst Leckereien We had another bake sale today. As usual that meant: lots of yummy goodness, and far too much money spent on sweet treats and stuff. But of course, it’s all for a good purpose, so I might as well indulge myself just a little. Wir hatten mal wieder einen herbstlichen Backwarenverkauf. Wie immer heißt das: Viele Leckereien und viel zu viel Geld, das den Besitzer wechselt. Aber natürlich ist es alles für einen guten Zweck, und da darf man dann auch mal ein bisschen über die Strenge schlagen.

Herrlicher Herbst We’re still enjoying the most beautiful autumn since I moved here. So, I can’t help myself – in spite of being quite busy, I just have to get out there to capture the moments. And you’re lucky, because you can be part of it. Wir genießen immer noch den herrlichsten Herbst seitdem ich hierhergezogen bin. Deswegen kann ich mich auch einfach nicht zurückhalten: Auch wenn ich viel um die Ohren habe, finde ich immer noch ein paar Augenblicke rauszugehen und den Moment festzuhalten. Document Christmas 2015 (December Daily)

Dokumentiere Weihnachten 2015   So, before I start to embark on this year’s Document Christmas adventure, I wanted to show you last year’s project that I haven’t gotten around to sharing yet. I used the 25 Days of December French Fold 5×7 vertical album template by Carina Gardner that I got from the Silhouette store for my basic album, but then, of course, made it very much my own. Since I have so many lovely Christmas kits, I hate to narrow things down to just one kit for the entire album, so I used a different kit for every double page. This album also comes with large pockets (between pages), which gave me lots of extra space to work with.
