Ahoy, mates and friends of the digital scrapbooking guild! I’m excited yet once more, because I get to begin sharing a new kit with you. This one’s all about misty days by the ocean, though the kit is versatile enough for you to use in other digital (& hybrid) scrapbooking projects as well. As always, “Daybreak by the Sea” is jam-packed with unique papers and elements, some of them specifically created for this kit. Today you’ll receive the first part, the alphas (no surprise there for those who know how the routine goes, huh!). I hope you’ll enjoy this kit, and please … I’d be excited to see what you’ve created with this kit and any other of my freebie kits for that matter. Remember, please, to credit everything to Misty Hilltops Designs, and keep in mind my Terms of Use, which means you may only use the contents of this product for your own personal scrapbooking needs (no commercial use, no direct-linking to the download page at mediafire, no sharing of any part …
Can you imagine the fun I’m having with my Silhouette machine? For my sister and my mom I had to cut these adorable cupcake wrappers that make great little candle holders, and look oh so very pretty on any table. They’re available in the Silhouette Online store. Here are a couple more images from my sister’s blog:
Look who I found on my bed today. This lady’s called Sandy. And it’s not like I invited her onto my bed. But I guess it’s the nature of people like Sandy – they usually don’t care much about what other people think. They usually do what they want to do when they want to do it. And I guess, we real people have to learn to take these furry people the way they are – if we want to keep our lives as peaceful and quiet as they can.

Something was buzzing today. In the backyard. And nope. It wasn’t the busy bees that were busying around. It also weren’t antsy ants that made all the buzz. No, it actually was my sister and her husband (and me, too, for that matter, and the kids, of course) who were making a lot of ado about nothing, or well, maybe not really nothing, just a whole lot of dirt. Because my sister and her people had decided that it was about time to turn the entire side of the backyard upside down, because they want a new landscape around their home. Quite the buzz around home, I’m telling you!
Look what I stumbled upon: Another website with fun free printables. You like Project Life? Then this one might be for you. Check out this, and the other free printables they offer on this website. Did you notice all the little extra stuff they also put on the page above? And no worries, the quality of the downloadable image is going to be good for printing, not like my preview here. There you have it. Hop on over to grab your free printables, and happy scrapping!

Summer is the time to have fun. I’m sure you’re having lots of fun with families, friends, the activities you’re doing, so it’s about time to start writing about all the fun days you’re having. Here are today’s journaling prompts: And my page comes with it just as promptly. I journaled about the fun I had with my sister this summer. Take a look …
My nephew. He’s a real busy man. Why? Because even on vacation he’s always hard working. Like today. He thought he may start an attempt to dig across our planet. And he got pretty far, I must say. Too sad we had to say good-bye to France later in the day, or else who knows how much further he would have gotten. Busy little man, indeed!
