Journaling Café: Year's End
Whaa, the end of the year has snuck up on me without even giving me much time to think about it. So, it’s about time to do some end-of-the-year reflections. I find that thinking about the good and the bad of the past year helps in formulating those new resolutions at the beginning of each year which can give our lives purpose and direction. I, therefore, present to you the last journaling prompt of 2012: And here’s my page, showing some of the highlights this past year:

This being my first ever really-made-from-scratch gingerbread house, I was actually pleasantly surprised to find it didn’t taste all too poor. Talking of “candy and sugar” … by the way, did you know that in Chinese they are one and the same? No wonder, my students keep talking about how they eat sugar, when – in fact – they mean candy. And it is left to me to figure out how much of a sweet tooth they really are! On that note … I’m going to be out for …

Work is Work …

Or well, maybe not really teaching today, because there were more urgent matters at hand. But I’m quite convinced that my students were just as little excited about coming to class today, as I was – after all – it was exam day! Now, I have to get the grades ready for tomorrow, and that means off to some more work …
