Schreibstube: Basteleien For many of us, autumn has somehow snuck its way in, and with the weather getting cooler and the days getting shorter it’s the perfect time to get out those craft supplies and get creative. This week’s journaling prompts, therefore, are all about expressing your creativity through hands-on craft projects. Craft Corner: Fall Flower Garden, Part 3 – Black-Eyed Susan

Bastelecke: Herbstlicher Blumengarten – Teil 3 On to the next flower in my happy little autumn flower garden. This one’s a Black-Eyed Susan and makes a great addition to all the other flowers I got to “plant.” It’s also an svgcuts.com cutting file and was super easy to cut out and assemble. Auf zur nächsten Blume in meinem kleinen Herbstgarten. Diese ist ein Sonnenhut und macht sich ganz gut unter all den anderen Blumen, die ich “gepflanzt” habe. Sie kommt auch von einer Schneidedatei von svgcuts.com und war sehr einfach zu basteln.

Bastelecke: Herbstlicher Blumengarten – Teil 2 I’m happy to show you the next flower in my autumn flower garden. This, too, was made with a cut file from svgcuts.com. All I needed to do is cut the various pieces from colored card stock, crease and fold things, and then assemble everything. Es freut mich, euch heute die nächste Blume aus meinem Herbstgarten vorstellen zu dürfen. Diese Blume wurde ebenfalls aus einer Schneidedatei von svgcuts.com gemacht. Alles, was ich tun musste war, die einzelnen Teile aus Tonkarton auszuschneiden, dem ganzen ein bisschen Form geben, und dann zusammenkleben.

Bastelecke: Herbstlicher Blumengarten, Teil 1 – Sonnenblume Last week I began to show you my most recent fall themed craft projects. This week, I’d like to continue by showing you the flowers I made, with the help of my Silhouette Cameo and cutting files from svgcuts.com. We’ll start with the sunflower. I love how it’s so easy to cut out and put together (you need the Studio Designer Version for your Silhouette), and how much the flower really looks like a sunflower. They’re also perfect to decorate any card you’re making and are sure to give anyone who receives that card a ray of sunshine. Letzte Woche habe ich angefangen, euch meine neuesten Herbstbasteleien zu zeigen. Diese Woche möchte ich damit fortfahren und euch eine der Blumen zeigen, die ich mit Hilfe meiner Silhouette Cameo und einer Schneidedatei von svgcuts.com gebastelt habe (um Dateien von svgcuts zu schneiden, braucht man die Studio Designer Edition). Bastelecke: Herbst Wortbastelei Fall is coming, and lately, I’ve been having fun creating a couple of fall decorations for my home. Around here, people simply don’t decorate their homes according to seasons, which means it’s really difficult for me to get anything seasonal. But with the help of my Silhouette and some craft paper, I’ve been chipping away and my home now looks like a little autumn garden. Der Herbst naht, und in letzter Zeit hab ich viel Spass gehapt, ein paar Herbstdekorationen für mein kleines Heim zu basteln. Hier dekorieren die Leute ihr Zuhause einfach nicht den Jahreszeiten entsprechend, was bedeutet, dass es sehr schwierig für mich ist, Säsonbezogene Deko zu finden. Aber mit der Hilfe meiner Silhouette Cameo und etwas Tonpapier habe ich es geschafft, mein kleines Reich in einen kleinen Herbstgarten zu verwandeln.

Mittwochs Inspiration: Häkelmuster von Lacework Petit Motif Friends, today I’d like to share something with you that at first glance seems to have very little to do with scrapbooking of any sort. Bastelecke: Ruderboot von svgcuts.com With summer doing such a nice job, I was in the mood of crafting some summer themed projects lately. A couple months back I purchased a few paper projects from svgcuts.com, including the super cute summer themed kit “Picnic in the Park.” Da der Sommer sich nun schon mal solch große Mühe gibt, war ich in bester Laune mal ein paar sommerliche Projekte zu basteln. Boy, oh boy, am I excited. Because guess what! I finally got a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine, which means I’ll be able to take my crafting up a notch or two. It arrived within 24 hours after I ordered it online, and now I’m so excited to share with you some of the projects that I’m working on, and to share with you some sites I found that offer tons of free stuff you can use with a cutting machine. Let me start off by saying that I’m constantly surprised to see how much stuff (by that I mean cutting files) you can find online for free! It’s so much fun how much you can use your die cutting machine even when you’re just starting out and only have a few things in your studio library.
